To all of my current clients and potential new clients,
I just wanted to let everybody know that as of now I will not be accepting any new lash clients. I will be spacing my appointments instead of running back to back, which will not allow for last minute squeeze ins, so please pre-book ahead of time. As many of you know, in May, I injured my shoulder and have been dealing with the roller coaster of healing, which, unfortunately at this point is not going well. I sprained my rotator cuff in May but now I am dealing with the effects of overcompensating for my shoulder in the other areas of my body. Please allow me grace during your appointment if I am working slower than normal and please understand that I will be strategically scheduling my clients that need to see me every 2 to 6 weeks to ensure that I will be able to give you great service when you see me while also protecting my body. I love this industry more than anything, but I have quickly learned over the years that it doesn’t take much to burn out your mind and your body. I don’t want to live in that hustle culture anymore if it means I am destroying myself.
As of right now, I am doing physical therapy once a week and getting regular bodywork done on my problem areas and I hope that after the holidays I will be able to maintain my regular schedule. I know this is the worst time of year for this to happen, but I also have to face the truth that I have been ignoring my body signals, and now I have to pay that price. In the new year I will continue to strategically schedule my clients and new clients and will also be adding gaps in between instead of doing back to back in order to make sure that I am paying attention to my body and giving it an appropriate break before I see my next client. As always, I appreciate all of you more than you know, and as I said, I love what I do, and this will just ensure that I can do this longer. I was going to post black Friday specials for services, but given the circumstances, I will be offering $50 for free with a purchase of a $100 gift card. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones, and I hope things go back to normal as soon as possible.
