🎄✨ Spreading Christmas Cheer in Muskegon Township! ✨🎄

Muskegon Township employees are once again thrilled to adopt the two Christian Care facilities in our Township—one on Sheridan and one on McLaughlin! These homes care for more than 150 residents, many of whom don’t have family who visit or send gifts during the holidays. 💛

Their wish lists are simple but heartfelt—things like cozy nightgowns, books, puzzles, warm clothing, and basic necessities that bring comfort, dignity, and a touch of Christmas joy. 🎁🧣📚

🌟 How You Can Help:
Stop by, take a tag (or two!), and help make Christmas brighter for a resident who could use some extra love this season.

🎅 Short on time?
You can also drop off any amount as a monetary donation, and our holiday elves will shop on your behalf. We do our very best to purchase the exact items residents personally request, ensuring their gifts are meaningful and truly theirs. ❤️

🚨 Evacuation Drill Success! 🚨

Last week, Christian Care partnered with the incredible team at the Muskegon Charter Township Fire Department to conduct a full-scale evacuation drill. Safety is always our top priority, and this drill was a vital step in ensuring our preparedness.

A huge shoutout to Dave, our Maintenance/Environmental Services Director, for his leadership, dedication, and the valuable lessons we gained from the experience. Your hard work truly made a difference!

From Rehab to Family 💙

What started as a short stay for sub-acute rehab turned into a beautiful chapter we’ll never forget. David came to us with a goal, and while the journey took longer than expected, it gave us the gift of time with someone truly special.

David became a fixture at the front office — chatting with staff, sharing his infectious smile, and lifting everyone’s spirits with his energy. He didn’t just stay with us… he became part of our CC family.

Though we’re sad to see him go, we’re beyond proud of how far he’s come and thrilled for the next adventure that awaits him. You’ll always have a home here. 🦁 🐅 💙🤍🩶🧡
