🌟Success Spotlight 🌟

After experiencing a life-changing stroke in 2020, Michael Mosqueda was determined to find his way back into the workforce and reconnect with his community. Referred to Goodwill through Michigan Rehabilitation Services in 2025, he joined the STEP program, where he gained valuable support through job readiness training, resume building, and interview preparation. With the help of Goodwill staff, Michael was able to return to a familiar and meaningful role at Perrigo—this time part-time in the Documents Department.

Today, he’s not only back to doing work he loves, but also rebuilding his confidence and independence. He's now working 15–20 hours a week, driving again, and enjoying activities like golf and working out. Grateful for the support he received, Michael looks ahead with the goal of returning to full-time work and encourages others to take that first step with Goodwill, knowing they’ll have the support they need to succeed.
