🧡💙 Dreams come true at Comerica park ⚾🐯

Today our dream maker program helped one of our residents, Jeff, cheer on the Detroit tigers in person! Thanks to the generosity of Jon and the entire Tigers Community Impact Team, Jeff, his three longtime friends, and a couple of our staff were treated to fantastic seats and a perfect summer evening at Comerica Park.

A huge thank-you to Usher Anthony, who made the experience extra memorable—helping Jeff score a ball and a few other surprises that made him feel truly celebrated.

Jeff’s support team showed up strong, as always. His three friends have been with him through thick and thin, especially throughout his journey. Their bond is something special, and we loved seeing them all together, enjoying the game, caring for Jeff, sharing laughs… and maybe sneaking off to the casino afterward (we heard rumors 🤭) 🎰

Oh—and the Tigers brought the energy, winning 7–2! 🎉🤩

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this outing so meaningful. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful connection, community, and a little baseball magic can be. ⚾️

We’re thrilled to welcome Chuck into full-time residency here at Christian Care Assisted Living, where he’ll be joining his beloved wife in our luxury suite. While Joann has been part of our community for some time now, Chuck has always felt like family—frequently visiting and brightening our days with his kind spirit and loving devotion. Having them together under one roof is heartwarming!

Residents, families, and car lovers came together to celebrate vintage beauties, share stories, and enjoy a sunny afternoon filled with memories, conversation and of course… snacks.
