If you or someone you care for is 62 or older, the Home Ramp Up program through Mid Michigan Community Action may be able to help make important home modifications that support safety and independence.
Possible modifications include:
• Ramps and stairs
• Grab bars and handrails
• Sink and fixture adjustments
• Toilet replacements
• Tub cuts and other accessibility improvements
Getting started is easy. Call or text your nearest Community Action Center to learn more and see if you qualify. Phone numbers are on the picture below.

Become a Meals on Wheels volunteer and deliver kindness daily!

We're looking for caring volunteers to help deliver meals, compassion and connection to homebound older adults. Current needs include:
- Montague / Whitehall: Wednesdays (1 - 1.5 hour route) and Fridays (30 minute route February and March) with meal pick up from SHAWL Apartments between 10:00 - 10:30 am.
- Grand Haven: Mondays and Fridays (1.5 hour route) with meal pick up from Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging between 9:30 - 10:00 am.
- Spring Lake / Ferrysburg: Fridays (1 hour route) with meal pick up from Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging between 9:30 - 10:00 am.
- Holland / Zeeland: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (1 - 2 hours) flexibility with meal pick up from LifeCircles PACE Holland between 10:00 - 10:30 am. Not a permanent position, but looking for flexible volunteers who can help cover routes as needed.
