Open enrollment for Oklahoma SoonerCare begins May 1.

Many families will receive letters and may be automatically assigned to a different provider somewhere else in the state. Please know you can still continue seeing the provider you are already established with, but you MUST contact SoonerCare and make sure your P*P is updated back to your home clinic.

If you are a patient at Hoos Pediatric and Adolescent Care and see Dr. Hoos, Dr. Wood, Mrs. Denton, or Mr. O’Dell, you need to make sure your Primary Care Provider (P*P) is listed as:

Please don’t ignore these letters. If your P*P is not listed correctly, it can create delays and problems with your child’s care. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create. ❄️ Inclement Weather Closure ❄️

Due to inclement weather, Hoos Pediatric and Adolescent Care will be closed Monday, January 26th.
At this time, we plan to reopen on Tuesday, weather permitting.

This decision is never taken lightly. We make closure decisions based on safety concerns and the well-being of our patients, families, and staff.

📞 We will have limited availability by phone for urgent questions during this closure.

We realize it is winter virus season, and many children are experiencing fever, congestion, coughs, and dehydration. To help while we’re closed, here are trusted links from HealthyChildren.org with guidance on medication dosing and home care.
