🔥🌶️ Our annual Chili Cookoff was one for the books! As always, our residents—aka the toughest critics around—took their judging roles very seriously, and they loved every minute of it. There was definitely some stiff competition this year, with flavors all across the board bringing their A-game!
Now for the winners…
🥇 1st Place: Brittoney Jackson—(And NO, it was NOT rigged! lol)
🥈 2nd Place: Betty Crabtree from Activities
🥉 3rd Place: Josh Hobson, our Maintenance Supervisor and a newcomer to both Broadway and the competition—who also brought the BEST cornbread to pair with his spicy chili!
Events like this remind us how much fun we can have together and how special our Broadway family truly is. Already looking forward to next year… I have a feeling the competition will be even tougher! Don’t forget to stop by our booth this weekend at the 42nd Annual Chili Cookoff at Hatbox to try our Resident Approved Chili, BBQ, Hot Links and Beans!! 🔥 🌶️

An incredibly “Good Friday” was had at the Manor complete with a cookout and incredible sides! Thank you to our Maintenance Team and Dietary Team for the wonderful meal!
Special thanks to the Connor’s Nursing Students for their assistance the day before with coloring eggs!
It’s a GREAT time to be at The Manor! Happy Easter! ❤️

Our residents celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in proper style—because around here, we don’t do anything halfway. 🍀

A distinguished (and slightly mischievous) thank you to our Activities and Dietary teams for going above and beyond to make the day a hit. From the festive fun to the suspiciously delicious green treats, everything was chef’s kiss! 👏💚

Shoutout to our incredible volunteer staff who brought the energy with games that kept everyone laughing and engaged—and yes, the residents came ready to win! From lively group games to a little friendly competition during St. Patrick’s Day Bingo, the room was full of cheers, luck, and just a touch of competitive spirit. 🍀🎉

And let’s not overlook the green beer and lemonade… because nothing says “top-tier care” like a little holiday spirit served in a cup. 😉

All jokes aside, the smiles, laughter, and joy shared are exactly what it’s all about. Cheers to a team that knows how to work hard and party responsibly! 🌈✨

❤️ 🩷 We’ve had parties galore at the Manor lately! We crowned our Valentines Kings and Queens last Friday and ate King Cake with our Mardi Gras Bingo games today! What a great time to be at The Manor! 💛💜

Our residents enjoyed being serenaded with Beautiful Gospel music by Erivan with Emerald Hospice, but they especially enjoyed when one of our very own Housekeepers, Isom Smith joined in with him. What a beautiful surprise and a GREAT day to be at The Manor! 🎶 🎼 🎵 ❤️

We wrapped up our week the Broadway way today by celebrating our incredible Activities Team— Betty, Activities Director and Donnie, Activities Assistant. Each of them bring joy, purpose and smiles to our residents every day!
We also came together for an Indian Taco Fundraiser for one of our beloved team members who is facing an extremely challenging time. The outpouring of kindness, generosity and support truly shows what makes Broadway so special! We’re much more than coworkers, we’re FAMILY!
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, cooked and showed up with full hearts and ready to serve! This is compassion in action and we are so proud to be “Broadway!” ❤️
