IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SOONERCARE PATIENTS:

Soonercare has changed how they work with vision coverage as of April 1, 2024. There are now 3 companies with 3 different sets of rules. The new coverage, Sooner Select, requires that we check eligibility with the OHCA as well as the medical plan that you have chosen or has been chosen for you and the vision plan that is contracted with the health plan. If you were unaware of this change, please contact your DHS county office for answers to your questions and concerns. You can also call the SoonerSelect helpline at 800-987-7767, option 5, and talk to choice counselors. For the best possible experience, please let us know within 48 hours before your exam what medical insurance covers you under Soonercare so we may confirm vision benefits. Please be patient with our staff as we work with you during this change. Thank you for trusting us with your eye health and we look forward to seeing you soon.
