🎨💛 Inspired Living: Art Series at StoneRidge 💛🎨

What a better way to welcome Spring. This month, our Artful Living series had us creating beautiful paintings and exploring nature to design a unique 3D piece of artwork. 🌿✨

One of the most fun and meaningful parts of this class was that there was no sample to follow — just creative options and imagination. Each piece turned out completely unique, reflecting the creativity of every individual.

A huge thank you to Tracy from rootstowingsstudio for leading such a wonderful and inspiring class. Our residents had an amazing time learning, creating, and expressing themselves in new ways!

We’re excited to share that Tracy will be joining us each month as part of our art series, introducing a new art practice every time. We can’t wait to see what we create next!

☘️💚 A Trip to Emerald Isle 💚☘️
Our March themed meal transported us straight to Ireland, and what an incredible experience it was! 🇮🇪✨

Brandy and Ella once again did an amazing job transforming the Theatre on Main — the ambiance was absolutely beautiful and truly set the tone for the event.

Our talented dining team delivered a phenomenal meal, featuring delicious favorites like Irish potato cakes, Reuben eggrolls, fish & chips, corned beef & cabbage, and bangers & mash. 🍽️

The entertainment was just as spectacular! We kicked things off with the high-energy Paloma Irish Dancers, followed by the incredibly talented Summer on Duke, who kept the celebration going. 🎶

It was a wonderful meal. filled with great food, music, and community — we loved every minute of our journey to the Emerald Isle! 💚

💛 A Special Celebration in Nursing Care! 💛

Our nursing residents hosted a wonderful baby shower to celebrate two very special moms-to-be, Abby and Haley — both due in April (just 2 days apart!).

Abby is expecting a beautiful baby girl, and Haley is welcoming a baby boy! 💕💙

There was so much joy, laughter, and love shared as we celebrated together. We are so excited for both of them and can’t wait to meet their little ones!

Today’s themed meal in our beautiful Theatre on Main is absolutely stunning — the décor is gorgeous, the food looks incredible, and the entertainment is going to be spectacular. Stay tuned! 💚

🌍✈️ Today we began our dining “Trip Around the World!”

Our first stop… France! 🇫🇷
Brandy and Ella did a wonderful job creating the ambiance. As you walked through the doors, you truly felt as if you had stepped into a charming little French café. The servers looked amazing in their berets, red scarves, and of course, finishing the look with their ISERV swag!
Our incredible dining team once again put so much effort into creating a truly special meal. They work so hard behind the scenes to make the magic happen, and we are so grateful for all that they do! 👏

Today’s featured dish was Chicken Marengo, a classic French dish consisting of chicken sautéed in oil with garlic and tomato. Traditionally, it was garnished with fried eggs and crayfish, though those elements are often omitted today. It was served alongside French green beans, and of course, no French meal would be complete without Crème Brûlée for dessert. 🇫🇷🍮

Fun fact: The original dish was named to celebrate the Battle of Marengo, a Napoleonic victory in June of 1800.
So how do we follow up France?
Tomorrow is our exciting March themed meal — “A Trip to Emerald Isle.” ☘️
You’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store!

🌸🛍️ Happening This Thursday! IU13 Spring Student Bazaar 🛍️🌸

The countdown is on! Join us this Thursday at StoneRidge as we welcome the Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 Spring Student Bazaar — a special community event celebrating creativity, entrepreneurship, and student success.

Come out and support talented students as they showcase their classroom mini-businesses, featuring:
✨ Handmade crafts
🍪 Delicious treats
🌱 Plants & spring décor
🛍️ Unique gift items

Golden Soft Pretzels Food Truck will also be on site, so you can grab a warm pretzel while you shop!

🎶 Special Performance: Students from ELCO will share a musical performance from 11:40 AM – 12:30 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage young entrepreneurs as they build creativity, confidence, and real-world business skills. Bring a friend and come support these amazing students!

Our nursing residents had a wonderful time getting creative as they worked on festive St. Patrick’s Day crafts while searching for their pot of gold! 🌈💛

Activities like these are such a special way to spark creativity, encourage connection, and bring a little extra joy to the day.

We think they may have found their pot of gold in the friendships and fun they shared together! ☘️
