1️⃣ Prioritize Protein – Your muscles need building blocks to repair and grow. Aim for a lean protein source at every meal (chicken, eggs, fish, turkey, Greek yogurt, or a quality shake).

2️⃣ Control Your Tempo – Don’t just move the weight—own the movement. Slowing down the lowering phase (like in squats, push-ups, or rows) increases time under tension and builds more strength.

3️⃣ Prioritize Sleep – Your results don’t just happen in the gym, they happen when you recover. 7–8 hours of sleep each night will boost energy, focus, and progress.

We train to become the best possible versions of ourselves.

And that can mean different things for different people.

Check out Sue testing her balance while walking the plank! Not only is she maintaining her balance on the beam, but the item she’s holding (the Surge) is full of water which also helps to throw off her balance. 😊 A real test!

Sue has two replaced hips that are getting stronger week after week. Don’t let your mind limit you from what you’re capable of!

In honor of hitting 100lbs lost this week, I wanted to throw up a clip from our conversation earlier this year.

It’s so impressive to lose 100lbs. I would also say that what’s possibly even more impressive is that this has been an 8 year journey for Tom, and he’s not only kept the weight off, but has developed a lifestyle that he can maintain for the rest of his life. Isn’t that the real goal!?

Imagine not having to ride that rollercoaster of progress anymore.

Tom is the epitome of what consistency and dedication to the process can look like. Proud of you brother. Let’s keep going. 💪🏽
