We saw 180 patients in Francia yesterday, including an 84 yo man who weighed 108 pounds and couldn’t remember when he had last eaten. For dinner, we were joined by the mayor of Limón and discussed ways to support each other.

We made it to Icoteas yesterday despite a slow and bumpy ride! For dinner, several local pastors joined us to start a conversation about ways we can collaborate. Delicious fried chicken courtesy of Bexa and Elda!

Today, our friends and patients in Honduras celebrate the Feast Day of Nuestra Señora de Suyapa, the country’s patron saint. Found in 1747, "La Morenita" is a tiny 6.5cm cedar carving that serves as a powerful symbol of hope and resilience for the communities we serve.

As we continue our mission to provide essential healthcare, we join our Honduran neighbors in honoring this day of faith and national unity. 🇭🇳💙
