🎓GRADUATION DAY!🎓

Wylder met all of his goals and no longer requires speech/language therapy services. His growth is a true team success, made possible by his family’s dedication to carryover at home and his service coordinator’s continued advocacy and support. So proud of this sweet boy and his village.

Many parents/caregivers begin to notice their child may not be meeting communication milestones and start to worry, only to find that the wait for services can be months long.

Many families, especially in rural areas are experiencing long wait times for speech/language services right now.

To help support families during that time, Happy Hellos is now offering 🛜Telehealth🛜 speech and language evaluations.

Even if weekly therapy isn’t immediately available, an evaluation can provide:
✔ Professional insight/expertise
✔ Guidance for next steps
✔ Strategies you can start using at home right away

We hope to help families feel a little less stuck while waiting for services.

🚨⚠️Speech Therapy in Homes & Daycares Could Be Gone by January⚠️🚨

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is proposing a 💀38% reimbursement cut for pediatric speech therapy.💀

If this happens, Early Intervention will disappear.
Therapists would be forced to shorten sessions just to stay afloat, and in-home, daycare and preschool therapy would no longer be sustainable.

This isn’t just about numbers — it’s about livelihoods.
Mine, and those of countless Early Intervention and pediatric SLPs across South Carolina, are at risk. Families will lose access, and children will lose the care they depend on.

Between sessions, paperwork, and welcoming our tiniest team member this spring, social media took a well-deserved pause. This solo-run business has kept me busy, but so fulfilled. I’m endlessly grateful for every family who continues to support this small practice built on connection, play, and heart. 💕

Our newest little helper is proudly rocking the Happy Hellos logo today🤍 The sweetest reminder of why I do what I do. I’m hoping to get back to sharing Speechie Spotlights, Milestone Mondays, and Graduation Day celebrations soon!

There may be a few changes coming as we prepare for the start of the new year, but nothing is certain yet (stay tuned!) Thank you all for being part of this journey and for cheering on the little ones right alongside me. 🤍
