Today we celebrate National ASL Day 🤟🏼

Communication comes in so many different beautiful forms, and American Sign Language is one of them. For so many children and families, ASL opens the door to connection, expression, and being truly understood.

At our clinic, we believe that every child deserves a voice, whether that’s through words, signs, gestures, or a combination of them all. Supporting communication in all its forms helps build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful connections.

I looked at my clock last night to post this and realized it was after midnight, so we’re continuing the day today!

💙🌍 Today we honor International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day dedicated to raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and celebrating the incredible strength, diversity, and talent within the disability community.

At Thrive Pediatric Therapy, we have the privilege of working with children who show us every day what resilience, determination, and joy truly look like. The abilities, perspectives, and voices enrich our world in ways that cannot be measured.

We also recognize the families, caregivers, educators, and support systems who walk alongside them, advocating, encouraging, and believing in endless possibilities. Inclusion isn’t just a goal… it’s a commitment.

And it starts with seeing every child for who they are: capable, valued, and worthy of opportunity.

Today and every day, we celebrate our kids, and everyone that relates with this. People with disabilities, whether visible or invisible all have unique strengths, and beautiful ways they move through the world.

Let’s continue building a community where every child feels supported, empowered, and included.

💚As we close out National Caregivers Month, we want to take a moment to honor the incredible caregivers who make everything we do possible.

From parents and grandparents to foster families, siblings, and every loving adult who shows up day after day, we see you.

We hear you.

And we appreciate you more than you know.

As therapists, we get the privilege of watching your dedication up close. We see the early mornings, the late-night worries, the hours spent practicing skills at home, the appointments, the advocacy, the patience, the sacrifices, and the fierce love you pour into your child’s journey.

Your commitment is the reason progress happens. Your support is the reason your child feels safe enough to grow. And your partnership means the world to us.

Spooky season at Thrive Pediatric Therapy was a total treat! 🍬👻

Our kiddos showed up in the cutest, funniest, and most creative costumes, and yes, even our therapists dressed up and joined the magic!

We had an absolute blast trick-or-treating around the clinic all week long, and the smiles were truly contagious.
A HUGE thank you to all the amazing businesses who participated and helped make this week extra special for our families. We appreciate you more than you know! 🧡🖤

🌍✨ Happy World Occupational Therapy Day! ✨🌍

Today, we celebrate the incredible hearts and hands of our Occupational Therapists, the everyday heroes who help children build confidence, independence, and joy in every little milestone. 💪🏼💛

From helping little hands learn to hold a pencil, to guiding sensory regulation, to supporting feeding skills, dressing, motor coordination, and so much more, our OTs help children thrive in the most meaningful parts of their daily lives.

Every day, they turn challenges into victories, and every session is filled with creativity, compassion, and a deep belief in what’s possible. 🌈

To our amazing OT team Mrs. Ashley, Mr. Braden, & Ms. Deandra, thank you for your patience, your passion, and the way you see each child’s potential even when it’s hard for them to see it themselves. You make such a difference, not only in the lives of your clients, but in the hearts of their families too.💚
