Reindeer antlers AND puppy kisses! 🦌🐾

Alfred is usually seen playing guitar with our friend Mike Birch, but this time he brought a different kind of performance. He made his debut as a magician and included a special trick to help celebrate Shirley’s birthday. 🎂

The close-up illusions left everyone in awe as he made items appear and disappear right in front of us. It was a memorable show, and we are looking forward to seeing more of him in the New Year! 🎩✨

Kelly Livingston’s student council group from Ocean Bay Middle School arrived for their yearly visit and immediately got to work. These 6th-8th graders spent the morning doing crafts, playing games, helping in therapy, and visiting residents in their rooms. They even pitched in to help tidy up behind the scenes!

We treated the team to lunch in the private dining room to say thank you, and it was so special to hear them share memories of residents they've met throughout previous years. We are already looking forward to visiting them at their school this Spring! 🎶

Icing everywhere and eating candy before it hit the roof!

Kim from Lower Cape Fear LifeCare joined us for an Ugly Christmas Sweater party that turned into a gingerbread workshop. We built houses and gingerbread people, though we admit to eating a lot of the supplies before they could be used as decoration. It was a messy, fun afternoon full of holiday fun. 🍬🎄

Hot cocoa and holiday classics set the rhythm for the afternoon! 🎄

Angie from Ardent Hospice and Palliative Care of SC, Inc. stopped by twice this week to ensure everyone got a visit, spending time in both our Memory Care and Assisted Living neighborhoods. With cookies in hand and a song ready to go, she turned a quiet visit into a full festive sing-along.

Merry Christmas from our Watercrest Myrtle Beach family. 🎄

We have had such a fun month getting out and enjoying the season. We loved seeing the Holiday Spectacular at Legends In Concert Theater Myrtle Beach and taking in the Great Christmas Light Show. The cocoa and Christmas donut outing was delicious, too.

But honestly, the time spent with friends here was the best part. Making ornaments with Kelli from Sunrise Hospice, watching Dancing B Fitness perform, and enjoying our Festival of Wreaths supporting Wreaths Across America made this December really special. We hope you are enjoying every moment today with the people you love. 🎅 ❤️

Tap shoes on the floor and Christmas music in the background meant one thing at Watercrest Myrtle Beach... Carolina Rhythm Tap Ensemble was back again for the holidays. This was their second year performing for our community, and our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents were ready for the show. 🎄

The music, the movement, and all the smiles around the room made for a really special afternoon together. Thank you to Carolina Rhythm Tap Ensemble for sharing your talent with us and helping our community celebrate the season. 👯‍♀️❤️

We loaded up and went to one of our favorite spots, Legends In Concert Theater Myrtle Beach for their Holiday Spectacular! ✨🎄

The stage was packed with amazing acts including tributes to Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, Elvis Presley, and Tina Turner. We had a blast singing along to their famous songs as well as our favorite Christmas tunes. As always, the performers did not disappoint. It was a truly Holly Jolly afternoon of fun at Watercrest Myrtle Beach! 🕺❤️
