Do you know about gestalt language processing? It’s important to remember that not all of our kids learn language one word at a time!

Check out these posts and consider signing up for meaningful speech’s master class if you’d like to know more or if your child does any of the following (not limited to):

- Uses long memorized phrases before single words
* “Ready, set, go!”
* “Let’s get out of here!”
- Says entire lines from shows/videos
- Repeats phrases with the same intonation they originally heard
- Uses scripts that seem unrelated at first but actually match the child’s emotion or situation
- Demonstrates delayed or immediate echolalia
- sings songs, jingles, or quote books frequently

Registration is now open for our June and July Safety Around Water Swim Lessons! 💦

These inclusive swim lessons help individuals with disabilities build confidence and learn important water safety skills in a supportive, adapted environment. Sessions are designed to meet participants where they are, with one-on-one support and encouragement throughout each lesson.

We’re grateful to partner with the YMCA of Coastal Carolina to help create meaningful opportunities for players to learn, grow, and feel comfortable in and around the water.

Session 1: June 5, 12, 19, and 26
Session 2: July 10, 17, 24, and 31
