Staff Spotlight: Nikhil Patel, MD

Meet Dr. Nikhil Patel, a dedicated hematologist/oncologist whose passion for patient-centered care is rooted in his Mississippi upbringing. Dr. Patel earned his Biology degree from Millsaps College before completing his medical degree, Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, and Hematology/Oncology training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

He is Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, and Internal Medicine, and is an active member of ASCO, ASH, the AMA, and ACP.Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, listening to audiobooks, watching movies, reading, cooking, and golfing.

We’re grateful to have Dr. Patel as part of the Coastal Cancer Center team, bringing compassion, expertise, and heart to every patient he serves.
