Plan B from Myrtle Beach Rocky Horror Shadowcasters Myrtle Beach's very own Rocky Horror Picture Show troupe. Plan B is a Rocky Horror shadow cast group local to the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

(For the uninitiated--The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult movie with a following known for audience participation--which includes dressing up as the characters in the film, re-enacting the movie scenes live at film screenings, and yelling raunchy quips and responses back at the screen as the movie plays.) Founded in May 2012 by a local art gallery owner, our first performance was in July at the C4W Arena. We have since done performances at various bars, restaurants, and theaters in the Grand Strand and South Strand, including Donny's Saloon, Rockin' Hard, AMC Broadway at the Beach, Grand 14, Gator Tails, and more recently--Local Eat Drink Celebrate in Pawleys Island, and the Brick House Lounge in Surfside. (If you'd like to add your name to the list of venues, please get in contact with us about scheduling a show!) We are an intermittent cast, performing every few months at assorted venues. We typically try to plan at least one show in the month of October, as peak Rocky season centers around Halloween. In addition to being a performing arts group, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, registered with the State of South Carolina. Our mission is to support the local LGBTQIA+ community through visibility and community engagement via queer-friendly public performances, as well as to raise funds via show proceeds to support local and/or LGBTQIA+ charitable causes. We have ongoing relationships with Careteam Plus (who typically offer community support and free sexual health items at shows), South Strand Pride (who run a scholarship fund for Georgetown county high school seniors), and Pawleys Island PFLAG (who offer education, advocacy, and community support for local LGBTQIA+ folks). Hi ,

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but our 6/21 Wizard of Oz/Wicked themed RHPS show that was scheduled for the Brickhouse Lounge is being postponed. We've had a number of personal/logistic/financial issues in putting this one together, and want to make sure we can give you the best show possible--so the cast will be working with Brickhouse to reschedule, hopefully within the next few months.

If you purchased tickets to this performance, a full refund has been issued back to your card. We appreciate everyone's support of the cast and hope to see folks for the rescheduled show. Please stay posted to this page for updates on the upcoming performance; details will be available as soon as we have them. We hope to Time Warp with you soon!
