Wow wow wow!! Already half way there!!!! Again, I am so grateful for this generosity.
If you feel inspired, please consider sponsoring socks for Sam’s classmates, teachers, therapists and helpers. This helps us educate peers and staff about Down Syndrome in a super fun way, and a portion of donations goes to DSDN, an organization near and dear to my heart. See the post below on how to support this fundraiser!!

💙💛 World Down Syndrome Day 3/21/2024 is around the corner!! 💙💛
This year for World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) we have a HUGE goal of donating a pair of mismatched Pals Socks to EVERY student in Sam’s Third Grade class and every teacher, therapist and helper that works with him and his classmates. This is a total of 64 students and 17 adults. Last year we surpassed our goal and we were able to purchase socks for all of Nicky’s classroom and teachers, as well!!
On WDSD, we wear mismatched socks to show that different is beautiful and we don't have to match to be PALS! It gives me an opportunity to educate everyone in Sam’s class about Down Syndrome and answer any questions they might have about him directly- to help with acceptance, inclusion and better understanding of Down Syndrome.
It can also be the catalyst for important conversations with the amazing group of teachers, helpers, therapists, specialists, administrators, etc that make up Sam’s whole team.
If you are able, would you sponsor a pair of socks (or 5 😄)? Tween pairs (Sam’s age group for sock size) are $12 and Adult pairs are $15. The best part? $5 from each pair purchased go to The Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network! It's a win all around!
I plan to collect funds via Venmo to make a bulk sock purchase to save on shipping. I'll keep you updated on our progress along the way! If you are interested in purchasing socks for yourself, I will put the link in the comments! Just put “Socks for Sammy” or “Rock your socks” in your Venmo note. If you don’t have Venmo, I can take cash or checks or even credit/debit card through my Square account for work.
Even if you are unable to contribute, I would SO appreciate if you could share this for greater reach! I’ll make this post public.
I am so grateful for all of you and your love and support of Sam 💛💙
