🎃 Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃

Get ready for some spooky fun this October! We’re excited to invite you to a Halloween-themed beading earring class where families can come together and enjoy creating something special. It’ll be a fantastic way to bond while making your very own Halloween earrings to show off!

Join us on Friday, October 17, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Please bring a snack to share with the group—we can’t wait to taste what you bring!

Don’t forget to bring your beading supplies! If you’re looking for some Halloween colors, you can find a great selection at the Crossing Trading Post. We might have a few extra beads on hand, but it’s best to grab your own colors to make your creations unique.

We are thrilled to invite you to a free community event that celebrates creativity and connection! Join us for our beading class, where we can share our ideas and patterns while enjoying each other’s company. Mark your calendars for Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We'll be working on a special Men’s (Bear Dance) Collar Necktie pattern along with some beautiful floral designs. We truly hope you can join us, as your presence means a lot to our community! We can’t wait to see you there!

I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who attended our beading session today. We successfully beaded earrings and are scheduling another beading on May 9 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Painted Horse. We anticipate releasing our dates for May, June, and July, enabling you to save the dates and join us for future sessions.

Turgruyahk!! We thank everyone who attended our Ute Elders Beading Class. We are excited to commence our new project, traditional Ute Beaded neckties influenced by Ute Beardance. We are eager to view your completed projects!!

Our next class will be on Friday, April 11, at the Painted Horse Diabetes Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring your beading supplies and snacks to share with the group.

What a fantastic day we had! We are learning how to make beaded moccasins with the guidance of our Ute elder, who provided us with patterns. Thank you, Rosie! A big shoutout to Carlene for stopping by and bringing her beads; we had the opportunity to stock up on supplies!

The Ute Elders Health and Wellness Coalition was formed to share stories and exchange intergenerational knowledge among our elders. Their goal is to bring people together in a spirit of healing., friendship, and community. Join us on this inspiring journey of connection and support.

We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully rescheduled last week’s beading session to this Friday. Participants are encouraged to bring their unfinished beading projects, as we will be focusing on moccasin patterns. We highly encourage all attendees to initiate their own beading projects and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from our esteemed Ute Elders, who will provide valuable guidance throughout the process. Kindly ensure that you bring all necessary beading supplies.

Additionally, some of our Elders are not feeling well, and we want to prioritize everyone's health and safety. Our thoughts are with them, and we hope they begin to feel better soon.
