A practice race, on Saturday, February 10th, then the Dick Kendall Memorial Nordic Race on Saturday, February 24th. Registration is OPEN for both. Nordic Center Director Richard Brooks had the best capture of this mornings sunrise. Most loops have grooming passes today. White Pass Nordic is open daily through January 2nd, including Christmas and New Year’s Days.

It has been beautiful at the Nordic Center! We want to remind you that we are open daily through the holidays starting right now! It’s also improving note that we have modified our schedule after the holidays to Friday - Monday operation. The Nordic cafe is up and running as well so swing by and say hello!

Great news, our snowmaking crew has been cranking it out around the clock and we are ready to fire up the Far East Triple and the Carpets on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Please understand that this is a very LIMITED opening with just a couple of groomed runs available. We will host SEASON PASS HOLDERS ONLY on Saturday. If Mother Nature delivers there's a chance that we could open up a small number of lift tickets for Sunday, but that is to be determined. All future dates for operation will be updated on the snow report page. We will not run Monday, December 4 through Wednesday, December 6th.

We invite you to stop by, take a few runs then grab lunch with family and friends. We cannot wait to see you back on the hill!

Remembering our friend, Wendy Baker

To our White Pass Family,

It is with great sadness that we must let you know our friend, Wendy Baker, died Sunday as the result of a hit-and-run incident while cycling on Summitview Avenue in Yakima County. Wendy has been an important part of our community as a nurse practitioner, educator, healthcare advocate, and volunteer ski patrol member. Her contribution to the health of our community as both a provider and as a key member of the Yakima Valley College Nursing Program staff is immeasurable. Above all, Wendy has been a treasured friend and we will miss her terribly. Our hearts go out to her family, friends, students, co-workers, and all who have had the joy of knowing her.

Wendy's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Nursing Scholarship Program at Yakima Valley College would be appreciated. Contact nursing@yvcc.edu for more information.
