This bill in particular is the old SB3 and is pertaining to and related to the ban on the sale of “h**p” derived products sold at dedicated retailers, head shops, and gas stations.

This I not related to the Texas medical cannabis program. Those bills have passed and will become enforced after decision on specific policies come into force. That system is in a good place. So no worries to the TCUP participants.

My hopes go out to my colleagues in the h**p business for regulation in the currently unregulated market of head shops.

We need clean products out for all people to have access. Prayers for regulation in that system over prohibition.

SB 5 (THC Ban) is scheduled for a vote in the Senate on MONDAY!

While testimony was underway for the latest THC ban bill, Abbott's office released a statement, where he once again pushed for regulation over a total ban.
