Please join us in welcoming our newest provider, Penelope “Penny” Anderson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to ETCHS!

Penny is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 14 years of nursing experience in emergency, trauma, and acute care settings. She is passionate about preventive medicine, patient education, and improving access to quality healthcare within our community.

Throughout her career, Penny has cared for patients in both hospital and outpatient settings, with experience in chronic disease management, acute illness care, and continuity of care. Her background in emergency medicine has helped shape her calm, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

In addition to caring for patients, Penny has also served in leadership and mentorship roles, helping support and guide nurses and new nurse practitioners throughout their careers.

Penny earned her Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from William Paterson University and also holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Western Governors University.

We are excited to have Penny join the ETCHS team and look forward to the care and compassion she will bring to our patients and community! 💙

Care First Primary will be shutting its doors permanently on May 31st. Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital will become the custodian of all medical records for Care First.
