Nacogdoches Women’s Center cares about your comfort, and we’re excited to announce a new option for patients who experience anxiety or pain during certain procedures or exams. Patients can now choose mild sedation using nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas,” for a variety of in-office procedures, including IUD insertion, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy or routine pelvic exams. Plus, there is no lengthy recovery period and no need for a driver.

Breast cancer is ageless. While most women will begin mammograms at the age of 40, some women may need to start screenings sooner due to family history and other risk factors. When to stop getting annual mammograms is not age-related either. It all depends on your health.
