Rachel Self, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and has recently completed a nurse certificate course in reproductive endocrinology and offered by ASRM. Our office will be closed on Friday, April 3rd, and Monday, April 6th, as our care team enjoys a long Easter weekend. We will reopen with normal operating hours on Tuesday, April 7th. Happy Easter!

Rachel Self, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is now accepting patients at our Nacogdoches location!

Though new to the Women’s Center care team, Rachel is an experienced provider with more than 10 years of clinical practice, offering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including women’s healthcare. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwestern State University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University.

Raised in a military family, Rachel had the opportunity to live in various parts of the United States and Germany throughout her childhood. This unique experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for diverse communities and cultures, shaping both her worldview and her approach to healthcare.

We are proud to announce that Alisa King, APRN, CNM, CLC, is now a Certified Nurse Midwife, and she is accepting midwife patients in Nacogdoches! Alisa brings 17 years of nursing experience to the role, including 11 years in labor and delivery and women’s health. In addition to her midwife services, Alisa will continue to provide as a Certified Lactation Consultant.
