Hettie Legg and Associates LLC We provide Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services to the Nacogdoches area.

We offer full service, diagnostic and treatment, for multiple Speech & Language Disorders. This includes Language Disorders for both children and adults, Fluency Disorders, Articulation Disorders and Tongue Thrust. We also treat Voice disorders, those with Parkinson’s, Dysphonia, and Hypernasality. Additionally we treat Dysphagia, Aphasia and speech problems caused by stroke. We offer Speech Train

ing to the hearing impaired, and hold specialty training in Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT). Also, for your convenience our office has a Spanish Interpreter on staff and we offer free transportation to those that qualify, after the initial evaluation. As OT Month comes to a close, it leaves us time for one more spotlight: Mr. Bryan!

Bryan graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Panola College in 2017. Bryan is a full-time school-based therapist. During the summers, he fills in part-time here at HLA! Bryan loves providing a safe and structured environment for each of his patients to grow and thrive in.

Bryan is a great addition to our team and we’re excited to have him back on staff again this coming summer! He is hardworking and diligent and we’re lucky to have him in our HLA family!

Time for another OT spotlight! Today’s spotlight is on one of our PRN OT’s: Ms Rialie!

Rialie graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Panola College in 2019. She began her experience here at HLA in December 2022 as a part time therapist. In the fall of 2024, Rialie switched from part time to PRN. Now she’s our go-to-gal whenever we need someone to fill in for therapists who are out! Rialie has always enjoyed pediatrics and loves to collaborate with other therapists on a multidisciplinary team.

Rialie always brings a smile to everything she does and is patient with all the kiddos. We love getting to see her and are so thankful for her help! She is an awesome addition to our HLA family. ❤️

Happy Thursday everyone! Today’s OT spotlight is on Mr Hunter!

Hunter graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Panola College in May 2024. He worked in home health with a pediatric caseload before beginning his journey here at HLA in May 2025.

Hunter brings the energy to every session; he is always bubbly and cheerful with the patients! He is fast to share a joke and a smile, bringing joy to all those around him. He is a a fantastic part of our HLA family and we’re lucky to have him!

It’s OT spotlight time! Today’s spotlight is on Ms Alex!

Alex graduated from Panola College in May 2024 and began here journey here at HLA shortly afterwards! Alex loves integrating sensory play and crafty activities into her therapy. She is especially fond of working with patients who have autism, and loves getting to know kiddos for who they are, not who others expect them to be.

Alex always has a smile and a kind word for those around her. She is endlessly patient with each and every kiddo she works with, consistently maintaining a positive and loving attitude. We are so lucky to have her be a part of our HLA family! ❤️
