🌟 Meet Our Team 🌟
Introducing Celina Hawthorne, OTR, OTD – Owner, Director, and Occupational Therapist!
💬 “Occupational therapy is more than a profession for me—it’s a calling. I believe in empowering individuals through grace and personal connection, no matter their challenges.”
❤️ What Celina loves most about Grace in Motion Rehab: “We are a place of hope and healing. My faith is the foundation of how I serve, guiding me to provide compassionate, client-centered care, and our doors are open to everyone. Every person who walks through our doors is valued, welcomed, and supported.”
“At Grace in Motion, we don’t just treat a diagnosis—we treat the person. Every individual we work with has a unique story, set of challenges, and personal goals, whether they are learning new skills, regaining mobility, recovering from injury, forging a new path, or navigating life’s changes. We approach every person with fresh eyes, knowing that no two people are the same. What sets this practice apart is the depth of compassion and empathy woven into everything we do—gifts that we believe God has called us to use in service to others. When someone leaves our space, we want them to feel heard, supported, and truly cared for in a way that goes beyond traditional therapy.”
🌳 Hobbies: “Spending time with my husband and three amazing kiddos, diving into my faith, serving at my church, and fueling my coffee obsession (seriously, I might be 90% caffeine at this point 🤪).”
🐔 Fun fact: “I have a ton of chickens—and yes, they all have names. I hatch my own eggs, raise them up, and treat them like family. If you’ve never cuddled a chicken, you’re missing out on the best dopamine boost out there! Maybe our next big project should be… chicken therapy?! 🤪”
📚 Passion project: “Teaching future generations of occupational therapists at Baylor University—because shaping the next wave of compassionate, skilled OTs is just as rewarding as the work I do in the clinic.”
“Life is never boring around here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
✨ Why I do what I do: “I know firsthand the power of therapy to change lives. My own journey led me to occupational therapy at 11 years old, and it has become my passion and purpose. Whether it’s helping someone find relief from pain, gain independence, build confidence, or experience life in new ways, I am committed to meeting each person where they are and supporting them in what matters most to them. My faith is the foundation of my work, shaping the way I serve with compassion, excellence, and a deep respect for every individual’s unique journey. At the end of the day, my greatest joy comes from seeing people rediscover their strength, find hope in the process, and know they are never alone in their journey.”
We’re so grateful for Celina’s leadership, heart for others, and dedication to making a difference! Call or stop by today to learn more about how we can help!
