🌿 The Healing Herb — Injunction Update (What It REALLY Means) 🌿

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the recent court injunction in Texas, so let’s break it down in plain English 👇

⚖️ Yes — a judge DID step in. But this does NOT mean everything is back to normal.

💡 Here’s the reality:
• The injunction temporarily blocks parts of the new DSHS rules
• It is NOT permanent — this is still being fought in court
• It does NOT fully protect businesses from risk
• It does NOT clearly green-light THCA flower sales again statewide

👉 In other words:
There is still a lot of gray area and a lot of legal risk

🚫 So why aren’t we reopening right now?
Because nothing about this situation is stable yet.

Reopening means:
• Taking on compliance risk
• Potential enforcement issues
• Investing in inventory we may have to pull again

And we’ve always promised you one thing:
We will do this the RIGHT way — not the risky way.

🧠 What we’re doing instead:
• Watching the case closely (next hearings matter A LOT)
• Talking with industry/legal contacts
• Evaluating if a short-term reopen actually makes sense

❤️ What you should know:
We MISS y’all. Badly.
This community is the hardest part of being closed.

But we’re not going to rush back open just to turn around and shut down again.

The fate of THCA smokable h**p in Texas will be decided on Friday as the judge makes her ruling to either side either with the State’s unlawful rule making, or make the TRO/Injunction permanent. For those unaware, delta 8 products have been under a permanent injunction for years, allowing those products to remain on shelves. We are hopeful that the judge will rule similarly for THCA flower as well. 🙏 **p **p

🌿 UPDATE ON TRO🌿

We wanted to share an important update regarding the recent Texas h**p regulations.

A court has temporarily blocked enforcement of several key provisions being challenged in the lawsuit, including:

✔️ Redefining h**p — The more restrictive “total Delta-9 THC” calculation (which includes THCA)
✔️ Blocking interstate supply — Restrictions on h**p entering Texas for processing/manufacturing
✔️ Excessive penalties — Disproportionate enforcement penalties on businesses
⚠️ Important Note:
This temporary restraining order (TRO) does NOT apply to licensing fees, which remain in effect at this time.

💭 What this means:
This is a step in the right direction, but it is temporary.

The case is still ongoing, and this situation is far from finalized.
The TRO will remain in effect until the injunction hearing on April 23, 2026.

Texas H**p Updates-

As you know, our doors are currently closed.
We made that decision to stay compliant and do things the right way, even when it wasn’t easy.

We miss you all more than we can put into words.

💬 Where we’re at right now:

To be completely honest… we don’t know yet if we will reopen here in Texas.

The market is still very unstable, and there are a lot of unknowns. We’re taking the time to step back, watch what happens, and make the smartest decision for our future.

🚨 What’s happening in Texas right now:

The Texas H**p Business Council has officially filed a lawsuit against the State of Texas challenging the new h**p regulations that went into effect March 31.

They are also requesting a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), which could temporarily pause enforcement if approved.

⚠️ As of today:

❗ The rules are still in effect
❗ No TRO or injunction has been granted
❗ This is still an active, developing situation

📢 What you can expect from us:

We promised to keep you informed — and we will.

As updates come out about the lawsuit, the TRO, or anything that could impact this industry…
