🚨 FINAL 2 WEEKS-ALL THCA FLOWER, CONCENTRATES AND PREROLLS WILL BE BANNED IN TEXAS 🚨 STOCK UP WHILE YOU CAN 🚨

Many people don’t realize this yet, but Texas retailers will soon be required to remove THCA flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates from their shelves.

The rule goes into effect March 31, which means there are only a couple weeks left to purchase these products anywhere in Texas.

If you’ve been meaning to stop by The Healing Herb, now would be the time to come see us and stock up while supplies last.

We will be open Tuesday–Saturday until March 28 10am-6pm (or until we sell out).

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE HEALING HERB 🚨

Texas ban on selling THCA flower and concentrates begins March 31st🚫🌿

Dear Friends & Neighbors,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce The Healing Herb will be closing at the end of this month. Our final day of business will be Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Due to new Texas DSHS regulations taking effect March 31, the cost and requirements to remain compliant have changed dramatically for small businesses like ours.

These new rules significantly increase licensing fees, add extensive packaging and reporting requirements, and eliminate many of the high quality h**p products our customers rely on.

The new regulations also eliminate the legal sale of THCA flower and THCA smokable concentrates in Texas. 🚫🌿

The last legal day these products can be sold in Texas is March 30.
Unfortunately, these changes make it impossible for us to continue operating in a sustainable way.

Serving the Nacogdoches community has truly meant the world to us. We have loved meeting so many wonderful people, helping educate our neighbors about h**p wellness, and building friendships along the way. Your support, kindness, and trust have meant more than you know.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR HEALING HERB CUSTOMERS 🚨

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has officially adopted new rules regulating h**p products in Texas. These changes will significantly impact small h**p businesses like ours.

Here are some of the major changes:

• $5,000 annual registration fee for each retail location
• $10,000 annual license fee for manufacturers
• Products restricted to 21+ with age verification
• THCA will now be counted toward total THC during testing
• Expanded testing, labeling, packaging, and record-keeping requirements
• Increased inspections and enforcement authority

The biggest issue for many h**p retailers is the THCA measurement change. Because THCA converts to THC when heated, counting THCA toward total THC means that most h**p flower will no longer meet Texas compliance limits.

For stores like ours, h**p flower makes up a large portion of the products customers rely on for relief and wellness. Removing those products from the market will have a major impact on small businesses and on the people who depend on them.

On top of that, the new licensing fees and regulatory requirements add thousands of dollars in additional annual costs, making it extremely difficult for independent h**p retailers to continue operating.

These rules are expected to take effect soon after filing with the Texas Secretary of State.

We wanted our customers to understand what is happening and how serious these changes are for the h**p community across Texas.
