NATIONAL TRAIN A TEACHER DAY is a grass roots movement from the professional fi****ms training community that started in 2018. We are working as a nationwide unified front to offer FREE training on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.

Teachers,school staff,administrators, school volunteers, home-school cooperatives, and those that work with youth in an educational or a leadership capacity are invited to participate.

The main objective is to protect students.

Educating and empowering teachers, staff, administrators, and youth leaders can help with that objective.

Guardian Angel Academy, together with professional fi****ms trainers around the country are proactively EDUCATING our fellow citizens. This can help toward a tangible, real, and useful solution.

Each National Train A Teacher Day volunteer instructor has been trained or certified by a National Training Organization or a Law Enforcement Agency.

Instructors teach standardized courses that may include basic gun safety, first aid, alternative defensive tools, crime prevention, defensive firearm training, and purpose-built training for active shooter/mass casualty response in a school.

The protection and security of school children is not a gun debate. National Train A Teacher Day can offer something for most everyone. Fi****ms may not be for everyone, however education, empowerment, and understanding can be.

Teachers, school staff, administrators, and other youth leaders can choose to learn how to actively defend against attackers, provide aid if an attack occurs, or learn how to potentially deter attacks
in the first place.

The movie trailer for Reckoning is now available!

I was privileged to be the armorer on-set.

And I have a very brief moment in the spotlight (in the movie, not in the trailer) as a surely important-to-the-plot unnamed and non-speaking Townsperson (although, even in that silent half-second, I can only suppose my expressiveness communicated in an Oscar-worthy emotional range).

As armorer, I was responsible to ensure the fi****ms used on-set were safe, and I offered a bit of tutorial to cast and crew about handgun and rifle use in general, and Old West period methods specifically. If you don’t blink, you can see my very own lever rifle in the trailer.

The cast was exceptional. The crew was absolutely professional. It has been a fun and interesting experience.

LAST MINUTE OPPORTUNITY

If you are interested in being part of the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License Class, provided by Guardian Angel Academy, and you can be there TOMORROW (Tuesday April 9 at 6 pm), there are spaces available for NO COST.

The class will be held in Nampa, Idaho. More info will be provided if you can attend. For the selected participants, the additional sessions required to complete the class will also be FREE.

Exactly six months have passed since the shocking and horrific attack perpetrated against Israel by the terrorist group Hamas. Innocent civilians who were going about their daily lives were targeted for injury, r**e, and slaughter. Homes were bombed and burned. Infants, children, men, women, elderly people were killed or kidnapped.

Do I think there is a high likelihood something like this could happen in America? As impossible as it should be, it is not something I can ignore as an abstraction from the other side of the planet. And neither can you. Not anymore.

If you are a Jew, if you are not a Jew, you have choices. Ignore the possibility of violence in your little corner of the world. Decide to call the police if trouble is imminent. Trust the government to send help when you need it. Learn to defend your own home, your own family, your own people, yourself.

You may or may not know I am not solely a semi-retired educational and customer service superstar. I also teach classes about personal and home defense, defensive practices for businesses and schools and places of worship, and how to get ready for the potential troubles that may come.

The Legal Instruction session is Tuesday April 9 at 6:00 pm

The remainder of the class (Firearm Safety and Operation, Personal Defense, Concealed Carry Practices, and Live-Fire Range Time) will be scheduled with each participant to maximize individualized instruction.
