People Before Cuts. Protect Medicaid.
Wednesday, we showed up.
We gathered at the Capitol.
We spoke directly with legislators and lobbyists.
We stood alongside our fellow association members.
We proudly celebrated Disability Awareness at Fred Riggers Disability Advocacy Day, lifting up the voices that deserve to be heard every single day.
Our Parents, Participants, and Employees testified at the Public Forum on Medicaid Cuts in front of a full auditorium and multiple overflow rooms. The room was filled with real stories, real faces, and real impact.
We are passionate about serving our Participants, the people whose faces and voices are too often absent from decisions that directly affect their lives. On Wednesday, we were present. We were heard. And it mattered.
This is about dignity.
This is about community.
This is about protecting the services that allow people to live, work, and thrive in their communities.
We will continue to stand up, speak out, and advocate...because people must always come before cuts.
