Meet Blue, a 3 year old dachshund with a refined palate for… things that are absolutely not food. We won’t be naming the item in question, but let’s just say it was never found in the pet food aisle. 😅

Blue came in after her little adventure, and we had to help her reconsider her decisions by making her vomit up the evidence. The look on her face says, “I regret nothing,” but the results told a different story.

She returned the next day after some overnight vomiting, so we took radiographs to make sure there were no remaining “souvenirs.” Good news: she appears to be cleared out (for now😉) and back to being a law-abiding citizen. 🎉

Here’s hoping Ms. Blue sticks to kibble and leaves the mystery items to the humans. We love seeing her… just maybe not under these circumstances. 💙

Pro tip: If your dog suddenly develops exotic taste preferences, give us a call. We’re very discreet. 😉

Three-year-old Snoop gave his family quite the scare 🐾💔

He came in very sick from a urinary obstruction, meaning he had a blockage that prevented him from being able to urinate. When male cats cannot urinate, toxins build up quickly and it becomes a life threatening emergency 🚨

Snoop was critical on presentation and needed aggressive treatment and hospitalization, but this brave boy made an incredible turnaround in just over 24 hours💪🐱 Watching him go from fighting for his life to showing off that handsome face again is always the best kind of win for our team!

Just look at this stunning guy 💙✨

He's back home and recovering with his family ❤

Thank you for trusting us with his care!

Cats are not always great at staying hydrated, which can impact their urinary health. Try water fountains, extra bowls, or wet food to help boost their intake. If you notice less drinking or fewer litter box visits, it’s time to check in. Schedule an exam today to keep your cat feeling their best. 🐾💧🐱

Beans, a 6 year old chocolate lab, was playing ball at the park when his ball became lodged in his throat. His mom acted quickly, tried to retrieve it, but with no luck she rushed him straight to us.

Beans was immediately taken to the back where our team jumped into action. With light sedation, we were able to carefully push the ball out externally and remove it from his mouth. As soon as it was free, Beans was supported with oxygen while we shared the best possible news with his very worried mom: he was going to be okay.

It was a true team effort from the moment he arrived to the moment he went home. We are so grateful this scary situation had a happy ending, and that Beans is back where he belongs.

His mom shared these sweet photos with us. Isn’t he perfect? 🤎

Big paws up for Dr. Lonchar! 🐾👏

She recently traveled to the University of Arizona to lead a hands on lab teaching veterinary students how to place chest tubes. This is a critical, lifesaving skill used in emergency situations to help patients breathe when they need it most.

We are incredibly proud to see our team supporting the next generation of veterinarians and sharing real world experience in advanced procedures. Way to represent, Dr. Lonchar!
