Okay, okay… we’re fashionably late to CSR Week 😅

Our manager was off at a conference, and while we could have celebrated without her… it just wouldn’t have been the same. So yes, we hit pause ⏸️ and celebrated a week late, not because our CSRs aren’t amazing and THE BEST (they are ✨), but because we wanted the whole crew together to give them the appreciation they truly deserve.

Our Client Service Representatives are the real MVPs 🏆
They’re the first voice you hear on the phone 📞, the friendly face at the front desk 😊, and the calm in the middle of the chaos when things get a little “ruff” 🐶

They answer all the questions (even the ones that start with “this might be a dumb question…”), juggle phones like pros, and somehow keep everything running without breaking a sweat… or at least without letting us see it 😄

It’s not always glamorous, and it’s far from easy but every single day they bring compassion, patience, and so much heart to support you and your pets, especially when you need it most ❤️

We are beyond lucky to have each and every one of you. Thank you for being the voice, the glue, and sometimes the unofficial therapists of the hospital 🐾

We’re investing in fresher kisses and healthier, happier pets! 🐾💙

A couple of our general practice team members, Dr. Davis and Abby, recently headed to Las Vegas to dive deep into all things dentistry. From the latest techniques to modern approaches, they brought back knowledge that helps us continue raising the bar for your best friends. 🐱🐶

At our hospital, we believe learning never stops. A growth mindset means constantly evolving, improving, and finding new ways to give your pets the highest level of care every single visit.

Your pet deserves the best and we’re committed to delivering just that. 💙

Jack is one of those cases that definitely kept things interesting for us here at Viking.

He came in after attempting to swallow a fishhook… which is exactly as uncomfortable (and dangerous) as it sounds. 🎣

We moved quickly to sedate him, put him under full general anesthesia and safely remove it before it could cause more serious damage. These cases can change so quickly, so timing and careful planning really matter.

Check out his X-ray: can you find the fishhook? 👀🩻

Jack is recovering well and back to being his normal, curious self… hopefully with a little less interest in fishing gear. 🐾

Think of pet ID as a safety net with three layers:

🏷️ A collar with an ID tag for quick, visible contact

📍 A registered microchip for permanent identification

📞 Up-to-date contact information so you can be reached quickly

When all three are in place, your pet has the best chance of getting home safely.

Cocoa mulch smells like chocolate to dogs 🍫🐶 — and that makes it dangerous. If ingested, it can cause vomiting, tremors, seizures, and even life-threatening toxicity. Safer choices include pine, cedar, or hemlock mulch, and always supervise curious chewers in the yard.
