We thought we’d seen it all… until Loki walked in. 🐾

This 7-year-old good boy got into a little spat with his housemate and needed a visit to Viking Vet. Nothing out of the ordinary—until we found out he wouldn’t come without his emotional support rock.

Yep. A rock. Not a toy, not a blanket… a rock.

And not just any rock—this was clearly his chosen one. It came with him into the lobby, into the treatment area, and Loki made it very clear: No rock, no vibes.

Honestly? We get it. Life’s hard. Bring the rock.

Loki was brave, sweet, and left our whole team a little obsessed. Long live this quirky king and his emotional support geode. 👑

We have Puppies!!! 🐾

Lily kept us on our toes this weekend, after several fretful days and multiple rechecks, mom was thrilled to share the outcome!

After finally going into labor around 3:30 a.m, Lily rallied like a champ. Just a few hours later, she delivered 11 healthy, wiggly puppies! 🐶💕

Huge shoutout to our incredible team who monitored her closely and made sure mom and babies had the best care possible and great job Mom! Welcome to the world, little ones! 💛

🍽️ From Sous Chef to Surgery Star – Meet Benji, Our First VVH Feline TPLO! 🐾

Benji takes his culinary duties very seriously—especially when it comes to post-dinner inspections. After a particularly thorough check of the stovetop one Sunday, his kitchen crusade took a wild turn.

While ensuring the oven was up to his feline standards, he slipped (thanks to a sparkling clean surface—nice job, humans), caught his back leg between the oven door handle and the door itself… and in true cat fashion, panicked with flair. The oven door flung open, and Benji let out a scream—whether it was from pain or the horror of discovering a missed spot inside the oven, we’ll never know.

After a night of hiding and probably rethinking his life choices, Benji was taken to Viking, where we discovered he had torn his CCL and would need a TPLO surgery—making him our very first cat to get one!

We’re happy to report that Sir Benji is already on the mend and will soon be back to his culinary pursuits—with one small change: the oven now stays locked. 😸
