I’ve been putting this post off for a month… because endings are hard and I’m a professional procrastinator when feelings are involved.
We officially closed our doors on December 31, 2025, and today we turned in the keys to this amazing, safe, comfortable little space we called Canyon CBD. This wasn’t just a store—it was years of heart, hard work, learning curves, and “what are we even doing?” moments turned into something really special.
The experiences, friendships, and memories made here will always mean the world to me. To our customers: you were pure magic. The love, kindness, and support you showed us never went unnoticed. I truly hope every business that opens in Downtown Nampa feels the same warmth and welcome that this community gave us.
This whole journey started as a casual “maybe I should open a CBD store” thought… which somehow turned into 4½ years of owning one. And that only happened because I had a GIANT support system.
Jeramiah—thank you for providing the building that made Canyon CBD possible from day one. Without you I would have never started this journey. I love you!
My parents—who have spent my entire life telling me I can do anything if I work for it (even my wild ideas). You were there from the ribbon cutting to the very last day we locked the doors, cheering me on the whole way.
My brother—my loudest, most enthusiastic cheerleader, always. You believe in me even when I’m struggling to believe in myself. Between you and dad, this store came to life: bathroom remodel, new back door, AC unit, awning, and about a hundred other things that don’t get enough credit.
My sister, Chris—an actual genius—thank you for saving me with behind-the-scenes paperwork and keeping me grounded year after year, especially at the end of every quarter when my brain was fried.
My daughters—who never hesitated to help, whether it was working in the store or randomly showing up with lunch because you just knew I hadn’t eaten. I can always count on you!
All my nephews and nieces—thank you for assembling bookshelves, display cases, the register stand, tables, computers, cords… basically IKEA on hard mode.
Ryan, my brother from another mother—thank you for always showing up. From fixing a leaking roof at 10pm in the pouring rain to giving me pep talks when I needed them most.
My girl gang (and their husbands)—Dani, Steph, Angela, Shayna, and Leloni. Thank you for listening to me vent about city permits, Idaho Agriculture changing pet CBD rules without telling anyone, and even the rude messages from another CBD business before we even opened. You heard it all.
Angela—trial blazers, all of the Canyon CBD swag that you made for us and put so much perfection and care into.
Heidi—what a blessing. You came in exactly when I needed help and immediately went above and beyond anything I expected. Kind, smart, dependable, and thoughtful. I already miss you!
To all the businesses who shared our events, liked our posts, referred customers, or were just genuinely kind—thank you for supporting us.
And last but absolutely not least—Sidney Mychael. When I asked if you’d jump into this adventure with me, I expected I might have to convince you. Instead, you said yes immediately, and I couldn’t have been more excited. We shared laughs, tears, and plenty of TikTok bloopers in this tiny shop, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
I am beyond grateful for the last 4 years. Thank you all for being part of Canyon CBD’s story. If I missed naming anyone, please know it was not intentional—my gratitude runs deeper than a single post can hold. 🤍
