🦃 Plan Ahead for Thanksgiving! 🦃

In honor of Thanksgiving, Hands of Hope Northwest will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday so our dedicated team can spend well-deserved time with family and friends.

If you need to borrow or return any items, please plan accordingly! Our regular hours are 9 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday. Be sure to reserve and pick up what you need before the holiday week.

Our network server has served us well, but after years of faithful use, it’s starting to fall behind. This server is the backbone of our daily operations—helping us track donations, manage shipments, and ensure medical supplies reach those who need them most. 🌍

We’ve already reached 59% of our fundraising goal toward a new server—thank you to everyone who’s given so far! 🙌 But we still need your help to get the rest of the way there.

Have you ever wondered what our volunteers do? Let's take a closer look! 🔍

After medical supplies have been boxed and catalogued, volunteers arrange these boxes onto pallets. They track which box fits onto each pallet, and once enough pallets are ready, Hands of Hope Northwest can send an entire shipping container of pallets to a country in need.

We are giving away rollators! Rollators are mobility aids that provide stability and support for individuals who need assistance walking. They come with wheels, a seat, and often a storage basket, making them convenient for both indoor and outdoor use.

To get a rollator:

Call us to let us know you’re interested.
We’ll reserve a rollator for you and pull it out of storage if needed.
You can then come pick it up during our office hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm).

We loan durable medical equipment to local residents for up to six (6) months through our Local Loan Program, similar to how a library loans books. All our items are for temporary use, not long-term use. We are bridging the gap for those in need of short-term medical support until they can find a more permanent solution.

Walker Platform Attachments
Walker platform attachments provide additional support for individuals who need extra stability while using a walker. These attachments are designed to hold the forearm or arm, reducing the weight borne by the hands and wrists. They are ideal for those with limited hand strength or wrist pain, offering improved comfort and mobility.

For more information about the items in our Local Loan Program and how you can make the most of this service, please visit our website. If you would like to borrow equipment, call our office at (208) 461-1473 to check availability and schedule a pickup time during our office hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm). ☎️

We gladly accept donations of these items! As a nonprofit organization, we are 95% funded by the generous contributions of our community members. Your donations enable us to continue helping those in need. 💙
