🐾 Pet of the Month: Jack 🐾

From unable to walk and relying on a cart… to running, playing, and truly living his best life — Jack’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. 💛

After being diagnosed with an acute non-compressive nucleus pulposus extrusion (which means a small amount of disc material in the spine suddenly “shoots out” and bruises the spinal cord but doesn’t stay pressing on it), Jack showed us what resilience really looks like. Over the past year, he has put in the work with ground exercises, acupuncture, laser therapy, and now hydrotherapy — and it shows in every happy step he takes.

This transformation wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering dedication of his amazing owner, Neno. Thank you for trusting us with Jack’s care and for showing up for him every single step of the way.

We are so proud of you, Jack — keep shining, sweet boy! ✨

Meet your doctor - Gabby Turner, DVM!

Dr. Gabby Turner joined PetMotion in 2025 and is a recent graduate from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Augusta, Georgia, but has lived in Virginia for the last 15 years. Dr. Turner graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2022, with an emphasis on food animal production. She started veterinary school with a love for dairy cows and zoo animal conservation but found her love for rehabilitation medicine after doing an externship during her second year. Once she discovered how much rehabilitation medicine can help pets she knew there was no looking back.

When not working, Dr. Turner enjoys hiking, camping and getting pup cups with her partner and their rescue dogs Giggles, Georgia and Lenny. She also loves to volunteer and foster animals for the local animal shelters whenever they can. Dr. Turner is so excited to meet the community here in Idaho and to be a part of helping your pets maintain a happy and most importantly mobile lifestyle!

Meet your doctor - Meaghan Pryde, DVM!

Dr. Pryde joined the PetMotion team in June of 2025. She is originally from Chicago, received her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. After graduation, Dr. Pryde pursued a small animal rotating internship at WestVet Emergency and Specialty Center here in Boise, ID. Over the last 10 years, she has continued to work in emergency medicine all over the country. She is excited to be back in Boise after spending the last few years living in Utah!

Dr. Pryde’s interest in rehabilitation medicine spurred from being a volunteer veterinarian in Alaska during the Iditarod to care for the dogs during the race (she also has the coolest stories about those trips!)

When Dr. Pryde isn’t at work, you also likely won’t find her at home. She loves to travel anywhere and everywhere with her 3 dogs - Jay, George and Walter. She recently took up van life and frequently goes fishing, camping, hiking and skiing!

We are so excited to have Dr. Pryde be a part of the PetMotion team! She is looking forward to helping pets through all walks of life and conditions and meeting all their owners!

Pet of the week: Stogie!!

Stogie is a long term maintenance patient of ours for chronic conditions. For those conditions, Stogie receives laser, ground exercises and shockwave therapies to help keep him comfortable and mobile. He is such a joy to work with and we love seeing him weekly!

Thank you to Stogie’s wonderful family for entrusting us with his care!
