A lot of golfers experience low back pain. Limited hip mobility could be one culprit. Improving mobility takes consistent effort.

My perspective on dry needling from a physical therapist. It sometimes get marketed as some magic fix but the research doesn’t support that. It can be a tool as part of a bigger picture to help you reach your goals but it typically less expensive techniques can get similar results. If it works for you great!

I see a lot of back pain that lingers or improves but comes right back after certain activities. We can improve this by re-establishing your backs activity tolerance, strength, mobility, and confidence.

Pain going away is a win — but it doesn’t always mean rehab is complete.

In physical therapy, the real goal is rebuilding tissue capacity so your body can tolerate load, activity, and unexpected stress without symptoms returning.

That takes slow, progressive loading — not rushing back to full activity the moment pain disappears.

If rehab stops at pain relief, capacity is often left behind… and that’s when pain comes back.

Save this if you’re rehabbing an injury or coming back from pain

Experiencing some pain is sometimes part of the rehab process but it is definitely not as simple as no pain no gain. Some instances we can push through more and others we need to respect pain. Knowing when to push and when not to is the hard part.

Incorporating some different things into your routine just a couple of days a week can have a big impact. Plus maintaining our ability to move fast, jump, ect can have a big impact on our ability to continue to participate in activities we enjoy as we age.
