Mental Health Awareness Month was full of meaningful conversations, community connections, and opportunities to share mental health resources. Events like the NAMI Walk remind us that together, we continue to build a stronger, more supportive community where no one has to face mental health challenges alone.

Thank you to NAMI, Luzerne/Wyoming County MH/DS, Families United Network, volunteers, and speakers who helped create such a welcoming and meaningful event.

While May brings extra attention to mental health, it's something that deserves our care, awareness, and support every day of the year.

We're still smiling as we look back on the memories from our 5th Annual Mental Health Walk! 💚

On May 8, members, staff, community partners, families, and friends came together in downtown Nanticoke to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and show support for mental health. Despite the chilly temperatures, gusty winds, and occasional rain, the day was filled with energy, connection, and community spirit.

Following the walk, attendees enjoyed a community celebration featuring resource vendors, games, activities, food, giveaways, and opportunities to learn more about the many services available throughout our region.

Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, sponsored, donated, hosted a resource table, or simply showed up in support of mental health. Your participation helped make this event a meaningful reminder that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the day! 📸✨
