Still time to sign up for the Nantucket Police Charitable Association's First Annual 5K Charity Race on May 17, 2025 starting at 8:00am at Surfside Beach Parking Lot!

Price to sign up for the race is currently $35 with the price increasing to $45 after May 12th!

All funds raised will go directly to local initiatives, supporting the people of Nantucket. In the past, we have used funds raised to give graduating high school seniors and alumni scholarships, the annual Children’s Christmas Party, our Pink Patch Project supporting the Marla Ceely Lamb fund as well as youth programs, and other local community based organizations.

Whether you are a runner, walker, or volunteer, we need you to help us make this event a success! Prizes will be given to the top finishers!

Love, light and prayers to the young NHS student athlete that was lost yesterday. Prayers to his family, friends, teammates, first responders, and to the truck driver involved. This tragedy will affect everyone in a small community, rally around one another.

There is still time to register for our virtual lecture being held on Saturday, October 15 from 8:00-10:00am, “Ice Hockey: Common Injuries, Prevention and Return to Play." Bill Meehan, MD will discuss common injuries in hockey players including those to the brain, spine, hips, and overall musculoskeletal system. Danielle Hunt, MS, ATC will share information regarding injury rates/trends in the sport of ice hockey, based on recently published research.
