Ferzin Patel, M.A., CPMCP
Ferzin Patel is a psychotherapist and Life Coach in the greater New York area. Ferzin holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University and a Master’s degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from Columbia University, and has spent fifteen years working in the field of autism and developmental disabilities, including nine years as a clinical supervisor and healthcare administrator at an outpatient medical and mental health clinic in Manhattan serving developmentally disabled individuals and their families. For the past 10 years, she has applied her clinical skills as a therapist to the legal field serving as a consultant to help legal teams prepare for depositions and develop legal strategies to aid in witness preparation in litigated matters. Her current practice focuses on the advocacy and teachings of Conscious Parenting and the ways we can connect with our children and bridge the world to a more conscious existence. Ferzin also utilizes evidence based approaches, such as, but not limited to, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Theories, trauma focused interventions, and approaches through Family Systems models. She is also launching an initiative called Conscious MAN-ifestation Coaching dedicated to working with men to become awakened to their true selves and break out of the cultural norms set by generations of unconscious parenting. The healing of boys and men is imperative to the current conditions of gender equality.
