Yesterday morning we partnered with the Town of Clarkstown, Clarkstown Police Department, Nanuet Fire Department, Rockland County District Attorney's Office, Nanuet Union Free School District, and Larisa Karassik Foundation to participate in a mock DWI accident demonstration for the Nanuet HS senior class.

We are currently in the time period know as the 100 deadliest days for teen drivers, which occur between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Approximately 28 people die per day as a result of impaired driving, and this demonstration served as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of drinking and driving. Saving lives, preventing tragedies, and protecting our community is everyone’s responsibility.

**All victims are actors from the Nanuet EMS Youth Corps. Division.**
