Dana Cope, M.Ed. in Innovative Learning is an educator with 20 years experience who loves to strengthen system connections to support, facilitate, and make education meaningful for all learners of any age.

SERVICES FOR SCHOOL SYSTEMS
Educational Systems Thinker-
Assists your team in strengthening connections within the system to ensure that all members of the team are supported and those efforts impact students.
Strength-Based Team Builder-
Assists educators in understanding each other’s strengths and how these talents can unite to create a powerful team. Support the team to align their strengths with expectations and responsibilities of their roles, as well as empower the team to create goals that align with their talents and abilities.
Innovative Problem-Solver-
Work with your team to identify obstacles that inhibit positive communication and productivity. Create innovative pathways to move forward and beyond those road blocks so that creativeness is stimulated and the innovation process continues to grow.
Brainstorming Sessions-
Join your parent, teacher, and/or administrator teams on an hourly basis to brainstorm creative ideas to help unlock thinking and move your team forward.
Professional Development-
Support schools, teachers, or grade level teams with strategies and resources to support differentiation.
SERVICES FOR PARENTS
Strength-based Student Advocate-
When students have a profile of significant strengths and weaknesses, the focus can sometimes be more toward remediation. By leading with student strengths, it helps the child push forward through his/her striving areas. Provides Student Success Team support to assist the family and school team implement a plan using resources specific to the district or school. Collaborate with General Education and Special Education teams to create strength-based goals for academic action plans, section 504 plans or Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Assist families in navigating the school system.
Classroom Observation-
Observe student in his/her classroom setting to give suggestions on ways to help move the child forward academically and social-emotionally.
Report Writing-
Translate Neuropsychological Evaluations into strength-based Academic Action Plans that can be shared with the school site
Strengths/Challenges/Needs report to assist in the transition to a new classroom, change in school setting, or to share with your school's Student Success Team (SST) or Individual Education Plan (IEP) Team
Classroom Observation report to tailor an Academic Action Plan to a specific classroom curriculum and setting
Curriculum Consulting-
Review the adopted curriculum of the school and create a plan of how to use the resource to meet the needs of the student. Also provide consulting introducing online or other other low tech resources that can be explored to meet the student’s needs.

Counseling Sessions-
What is keeping your child up at night, causing worry, or keeping him/her from reaching his/her full potential? Sessions are designed to empower your child to find tools to move forward past obstacles that present themselves on life's learning journey.
Support for anxiety, perfectionism, self-monitoring, self-regulation, organization, and self-advocacy
Assist your child in finding and using his/her unique strengths to push through challenges
Coaching to support in preparing for and/or moving through transitions to middle school, high school, and beyond
Empowering your child to become an independent, autonomous learner
