Please join us in congratulating Nancy LG, as our most recent Caregiver of the Month!

We have actually had the distinct pleasure of working with Nancy since 2016! After a brief time away, she returned to the Hired Hands team and immediately brought her dedication and caring heart with her. Nancy is highly skilled and specializes in providing exceptional care to our clients with dementia, Parkinson's, and those on Hospice. Nancy's passion and commitment shine through in everything she does. We know that she will exceed expectations wherever we send her and it's clear that Nancy truly cares about every client we send her to.

We have received wonderful feedback from multiple client's family members about Nancy's attentiveness. Most recently, a client's son wanted us to know that "Nancy is the best- she is always alert and on top of it. Nancy saved my mom's life by noticing a problem with her catheter that was potentially going septic". Talk about being keenly aware of the important details!

And to make this extra special… this is the second time we have celebrated Nancy with this honor. We are so lucky to have her on our team, providing the highest level of care to seniors in our community!

Please join us in congratulating Abigail "Onnie" T. as our next Caregiver of the Month!

We recently had the joy of surprising Onnie during shift with two of her clients, Faith and Gordon. She was taken back by the recognition, sharing that she had never received such an award before. Faith and Gordon joined in on the celebration describing Onnie as "super-duper" and the "best caregiver", wishing they could have her more days!

While we have only had the pleasure of working with Onnie since the beginning of the year, she has grown tremendously as a caregiver. Onnie continues to learn and acquire new skills. Her ability to connect deeply with every client she cares for has really impressed us. Onnie is always polite, kind, and compassionate. Recently, while one of her clients was in the hospital, we received glowing feedback from the nurses about the care Onnie provided- highlighting her patience, dedication, and genuine compassion. We couldn't agree more!

Onnie, we are SO grateful to have you on our team and proud to celebrate you as our next Caregiver of the Month! Much appreciation and respect for you!

Today we’re proud to celebrate Vivian as our next Caregiver of the Month!

Vivian has just recently joined Hired Hands and we are so lucky to have her! She’s a recent graduate and is pursuing a career in nursing. From day one, she came in with such vibrance, enthusiasm and a strong desire to help others. Vivian had no hesitation when I asked her if she would be willing to start with a high skill level client that we had an immediate need for. She jumped right in with both feet and soaked up all of the tips and recommendations the care team offered her. Every day she is going above and beyond and is making great progress and with her often challenging client.

When we went to visit Vivian at her client's home, she was so surprised to be honored as our Caregiver of the Month. She then quickly gave a full detailed report on her client and the progress she’s been making. We are so impressed with how she interacts with our client and realized that we have never seen her client so vocal and looking so good! While Vivian's client is non-verbal, she now has so much to express and in the form of hugs and holding her hand. It is truly so rewarding and touching to witness. Vivian is truly an amazing caregiver with the biggest heart, and delivers care in the most professional way.

A big Thank You and Congratulations to Vivian! It is an absolute pleasure to have you on our team. You are truly a special person and we appreciate you very much!

Please join us in congratulating Sera as our most recent Caregiver of the Month!

Last week, we had the pleasure of surprising Sera on shift while she was with Peter, her steady client. Before leaving the surprise visit, Peter and Sera shared a special moment as he couldn't wait to congratulate her again!

We have had the distinct pleasure of working with Sera for over FIVE years! She is currently on our Live-in team specializing in both Dementia and Hospice care. Sera is highly skilled, deeply dedicated, and provides exceptional care to every client she works with. Sera has an amazing ability to really connect with her clients and their families. She is always warm, welcoming, and her clients appreciate her sense of humor. She has weathered some challenging cases with grace and everyone at Hired Hands appreciates her hard work, her tireless commitment, and caring heart.

Thank you for everything you do, Sera! You are amazing!

Perpetua, known lovingly by her clients as "Peppy", is a highly skilled Caregiver specializing in Dementia, Hospice, and Parkinson's care. The Hired Hands team has had the distinct pleasure of working with Peppy for almost two and a half years, and we’re here to tell you… she is pure sunshine! She has a history of exceeding all expectations everywhere she goes and consistently going above and beyond ever since she joined the Hired Hands Marin team. Every day, Perpetua is joyful, attentive, and always willing to help whenever and however she can.

When we surprised Perpetua with our Caregiver of the Month award, she stated "I am blessed to work for such a caring and supportive group and I love my clients like my own family". WE certainly feel blessed getting to work together!

The Hired Hands Homecare Team raises our glasses to Kraig, as our most recent Caregiver of the Month!

We had the pleasure of surprising Kraig while he was on shift with his client, Stanley. When we presented the award, Stanley smiled and said that he wanted to "look up in admiration at Kraig holding his award" for the picture for our office Wall of Fame. It was a moment filled with warmth, appreciation, and lots of smiles. Kraig and Stanley can often be found sharing a quiet afternoon working on crossword puzzles or a competitive game of scrabble. Either usually includes enjoying a bowl of ice cream! While Stanley remains undefeated in their friendly games, Kraig more than makes up for it with his compassionate heart, knowledge of caregiving, and unwavering dedication. Kraig is one of our highly skilled caregivers and also a member of our special Hospice team. Kraig has a true calling and special place in his heart for hospice care. He is quickly able to connect quickly, understand clients, and anticipate their needs. Kraig's focus is always on enhancing the quality of life and keeping clients engaged. Don’t tell anyone, but we may have even witnessed some singing and dancing while with his clients!

Congratulations Kraig, it is an absolute pleasure working with you and we are grateful for the heart and joy you bring to your work every day!
