The Holidays are over, and we need to catch up on celebrating some outstanding Caregivers! Let’s roll!

First, please join us in raising our glasses high to Loata! Hired Hands has had the distinct honor of working alongside Loata for over SIX years now, and she such an important member of our both our Dementia and Hospice teams. This is actually her second time being recognized as Caregiver of the Month and it is truly well deserved! Loata is full of personality, attentive, and always willing to help whenever she can. She brings a warm heart and joyful smile that can brighten every room and anyone's day. Her commitment and dedication have a positive impact on our clients and their families who rely on her. On top of all of that… Loata is an absolute pleasure to work with! Loata, we are incredibly grateful to have you on our team, and here’s to another SIX years of smiles and outstanding care!

Today we honor a leader whose message of remaining resolute in the face of adversity continues to guide us in building a more equal, compassionate world. We must continue to honor his legacy by fighting for equality for all. We have only had the pleasure of working with Martha for about a year now, but as a CNA, she is extremely experienced, and her skills really shine through! Please join us in congratulating Nancy LG, as our most recent Caregiver of the Month!

We have actually had the distinct pleasure of working with Nancy since 2016! After a brief time away, she returned to the Hired Hands team and immediately brought her dedication and caring heart with her. Nancy is highly skilled and specializes in providing exceptional care to our clients with dementia, Parkinson's, and those on Hospice. Nancy's passion and commitment shine through in everything she does. We know that she will exceed expectations wherever we send her and it's clear that Nancy truly cares about every client we send her to.

We have received wonderful feedback from multiple client's family members about Nancy's attentiveness. Most recently, a client's son wanted us to know that "Nancy is the best- she is always alert and on top of it. Nancy saved my mom's life by noticing a problem with her catheter that was potentially going septic". Talk about being keenly aware of the important details!

And to make this extra special… this is the second time we have celebrated Nancy with this honor. We are so lucky to have her on our team, providing the highest level of care to seniors in our community!

Please join us in congratulating Abigail "Onnie" T. as our next Caregiver of the Month!

We recently had the joy of surprising Onnie during shift with two of her clients, Faith and Gordon. She was taken back by the recognition, sharing that she had never received such an award before. Faith and Gordon joined in on the celebration describing Onnie as "super-duper" and the "best caregiver", wishing they could have her more days!

While we have only had the pleasure of working with Onnie since the beginning of the year, she has grown tremendously as a caregiver. Onnie continues to learn and acquire new skills. Her ability to connect deeply with every client she cares for has really impressed us. Onnie is always polite, kind, and compassionate. Recently, while one of her clients was in the hospital, we received glowing feedback from the nurses about the care Onnie provided- highlighting her patience, dedication, and genuine compassion. We couldn't agree more!

Onnie, we are SO grateful to have you on our team and proud to celebrate you as our next Caregiver of the Month! Much appreciation and respect for you!
