Napa Valley Support Services

Napa Valley Support Services Together we make a difference! Providing supports to adults with disabilities since 1956.

Napa Valley Support Services has been providing services to adults with developmental disabilities since 1956. It was started by a group of concerned parents who wanted meaningful activities for their children and has since grown from a single day program for 10 adults into three programs that provide services to more than 375 individuals with disabilities annually. In our three programs, Napa Personnel Systems, Imperial Way Program, and Brown Street Gallery, we focus on quality-of-life issues specific to adults with disabilities. These programs offer our clients opportunities to earn income through their own labor, to express themselves through the arts, to learn at a pace that accommodates their needs, and to demonstrate to themselves and to others that they are contributing members of society.

Anna, today we celebrate you!! After 18 incredible years, Anna is retiring from Whole Foods Napa.

Anna started on opening day in 2008 and has been a steady, friendly presence in front-end customer service ever since. With support from Napa Valley Support Services, she built a career defined by consistency, dedication, and connection.

One of the most special moments of today—her original job coach was there to celebrate her retirement, 18 years later.

Anna’s journey is a powerful reminder that our community members bring lasting value to the workplace through reliability, relationships, and deep institutional knowledge.

She was celebrated with cake, ice cream, and a lot of well-deserved appreciation.

Congratulations, Anna—we are so proud of you!

March is Developmental Disability Awareness Month and we're celebrating how we always do: advocacy! Today, CDSA members, self-advocates, families, and direct support professionals are spreading awareness at the State Capitol. They're in meetings with all 120 state legislators.

This good-looking group got trained on advocacy skills and public policy issues yesterday. Tag yourself and your organization if you were in this crowd!
