Napa Valley Support Services

Napa Valley Support Services Together we make a difference! Providing supports to adults with disabilities since 1956.

Napa Valley Support Services has been providing services to adults with developmental disabilities since 1956. It was started by a group of concerned parents who wanted meaningful activities for their children and has since grown from a single day program for 10 adults into three programs that provide services to more than 375 individuals with disabilities annually. In our three programs, Napa Personnel Systems, Imperial Way Program, and Brown Street Gallery, we focus on quality-of-life issues specific to adults with disabilities. These programs offer our clients opportunities to earn income through their own labor, to express themselves through the arts, to learn at a pace that accommodates their needs, and to demonstrate to themselves and to others that they are contributing members of society.

NVSS invites you to a free legislative lunch on April 10, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. This event is a vital opportunity for individuals supported by NBRC and their families to engage directly with local legislators. By sharing personal experiences, we can ensure that disability voices are heard in policy discussions. Please share this flyer and we hope to see you there! 480 Devlin Rd, Napa

We are excited to invite the community to join us at Justin-Siena on January 19th for MLK Community Day. From 10 AM to 1 PM, we'll have a table featuring a fun activity in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. This day is a reminder of the importance of love and community in our lives. As we step into the new year, let's embrace the words of MLK: "I have chosen to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."
We hope to see you there.

Happy January! As we step into the new year, we're thrilled to announce our participation in the Get Safe Personal Safety 101 training courses. These sessions focus on crucial skills such as awareness, conflict avoidance, and personal safety. Our hands-on instructor has already made a significant impact, fostering engagement and participation among our program participants. This training is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate their environments safely. Thank you, GET SAFE for taking the time to come out and see us!

Dear Friends,

We have been absolutely floored by the generosity of our community—friends, family, partners, and supporters who have shown up for Napa Valley Support Services in so many meaningful ways during this year’s Give!Guide. Thank you. Truly.

This is a particularly precarious time for nonprofits everywhere, and the competition for support is fierce, with more than 91 incredible organizations participating locally. That makes the outpouring of support for adults with disabilities even more humbling and deeply appreciated.

Thanks to your generosity, the matching gift from Bob and Heather Nations has officially been met! And because of the momentum you’ve helped create, another board member—who wishes to remain semi-anonymous (you know who you are, and thank you!)—has stepped forward to offer a new match for the next $1,000 raised.

That means now is the moment to make your donation go twice as far in these final days of the Give!Guide. Every gift made during this match has double the impact, directly supporting adults with disabilities through inclusive programs, meaningful employment, and community connection.

We are honored and incredibly grateful for any and all support, at any level. Thank you for believing in our mission and for making a lasting difference.
