Mother’s Day can hold so many emotions all at once. 💛

Today, we celebrate the mothers who love deeply, give endlessly, nurture, comfort, guide, and carry so much for the people they love. We honor the late nights, the sacrifices, the strength, and the quiet moments no one else sees.

But today can also feel heavy for some.

For the women longing to become mothers.
For those who have experienced loss.
For the ones grieving their mom.
For those navigating complicated relationships.
For the mothers carrying invisible exhaustion.
For the women who mother others with their hearts, even if they never had children of their own.

Mother’s Day is not one-size-fits-all.
It can bring joy, gratitude, grief, love, ache, reflection, and healing — sometimes all in the same moment.

At B Well, we want to hold space for all of it.
Your emotions are valid. Your story matters. And wherever today finds you, may you give yourself permission to feel without guilt.

May today be gentle with your nervous system, your heart, and your healing. 🤍

Another honest post alert…

Today, I’m just thankful it’s Saturday and that I get to spend a an evening with my spouse.

This past week felt heavy. The busyness of work, school activities, constant responsibilities, and emotionally draining conversations completely wore me down. My main job this week required difficult conversations almost daily, and instead of my usual work-from-home routine, I found myself gone most days carrying the emotional weight of those interactions.

By the evenings, I was exhausted and overwhelmed. And when I’m overwhelmed, I’m not always my best. I missed details. I struggled to focus on other responsibilities. And as someone who tends to be a perfectionist, that can send me into a spiral of overthinking and being frustrated with myself for not doing everything perfectly.

But here’s the truth I’m reminding myself of today… I’m human.

I’m not meant to perform at 100% every single moment of every single week. I get overwhelmed. I get emotionally tired. I have off days and off weeks too.

And this week? It was an off week for me.

So today, I’m choosing grace over guilt. Rest over pressure. Presence over perfection. And I’m simply thankful it’s Saturday. 🤍

There is so much peace that comes when we stop trying to control things that were never ours to carry.

Not every outcome is ours to fix.
Not every situation needs to be solved tonight.
Not every thought deserves our energy.

Overthinking keeps the nervous system in a constant state of alert — replaying conversations, predicting worst-case scenarios, carrying stress that hasn’t even happened yet. Our bodies were not designed to live in survival mode every moment of the day.

Sometimes healing looks like releasing.
Trusting.
Letting go of the need to have every answer.
Allowing yourself to rest instead of mentally fighting battles you cannot control.

When we loosen our grip, the nervous system can finally exhale.
And in that space, we create room for peace, clarity, presence, and healing.

You do not have to carry the weight of everything today. 🤍

I had such a powerful conversation on the How to Run Profitable Retreats podcast with Leni Cavazos, and I knew I had to share this with you. 🖤

For a long time, I was leading in my corporate career… but still questioning my voice. Still wondering if I truly belonged in the room. And I know so many women feel this, especially when stepping into something new like leading retreats.

In this episode, we talk about what it really takes to move from self-doubt into leadership, not just in your work, but in how you show up, how visible you allow yourself to be, and how you trust your own voice.
One of the biggest shifts for me?
Choosing to be seen. 👀

After attending the Sellout Retreat Summit, something clicked. I stopped holding back, started showing up more visibly, and the opportunities, connections, and aligned people started finding me.

If you’ve been feeling like:
❔ “Am I ready for this?”
❔ “Who am I to lead something like a retreat?”
❔ “Do I have to leave my job to pursue this?”
We talk about all of it, honestly and openly.
Because the truth is… you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
You just have to be willing to step forward. 🪽

And if you’re a woman who feels called to create something meaningful, to lead, to use your voice… I hope this conversation reminds you that you’re more ready than you think. 🤍

Honest post alert 🚨
If you’re not into honesty and authenticity, you can keep scrolling.

Some days are just… off.

Not because anything terrible happened. Not because life is falling apart. Just off. Overstimulated. Emotionally tired. Mentally drained. Hormonal. Lonely. Exhausted for no obvious reason at all.

It’s only 8:15 and I’m already in bed — pajamas on, face washed, teeth brushed, lights low. And honestly? That’s exactly what I needed today.

As a 41-year-old woman, I’m learning that sometimes exhaustion doesn’t need an explanation. Sometimes it’s hormones. Sometimes it’s perimenopause. Sometimes it’s carrying the weight of life, busyness, responsibility, emotions, people, work, and expectations day after day.

And instead of fighting myself tonight, I’m listening to myself.

The laundry can stay unfolded.
The dishes can wait.
The to-do list will still be there tomorrow.

Rest is productive too. Listening to your body is healthy too. Giving yourself permission to slow down is healing too.

So if today felt heavy or “off” for you too… you’re not alone. 🤍

If slowing down feels uncomfortable for you…
there’s nothing wrong with you. Trust me, I have the hardest time slowing down!

When your body has been in “go mode” for so long, rest can feel unfamiliar… even unsafe.

That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
It means your nervous system is learning something new.

And that takes time, patience, and compassion.

I haven’t been able to get on here and share about our Spring Retreat at Snug Hollow Bed & Breakfast a couple of weeks ago, and honestly, it’s because life has been so full—and because I’ve been trying to find the right words ever since.

What happened that weekend is hard to fully describe. The women who joined us didn’t just walk away with tools, resources, and new friendships—they experienced real transformation. And the truth is, it impacted Joyce and me just as deeply.

The only way I can truly explain it is that it felt divinely orchestrated—something bigger than us at work in every conversation, every moment, every breakthrough.

I get emotional even thinking about it, because it was that powerful.

We are so grateful for what God did in that space, and we are even more excited as we begin building what’s next.

One of the most beautiful things we witness at our retreats…

is the moment a woman finally exhales.

Not just physically—
but emotionally.

The moment she realizes she doesn’t have to hold it all together anymore.

There’s something sacred about creating space
where your body feels safe enough to soften.

And that’s where the real transformation begins.
