Healing Pups Pet Therapy NFP MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to provide unconditional love & acceptance of animals to heal others

This idea of certifying and registering Marlie as a therapeutic companionship was born after a personal tragedy, I lost my son to a drug overdose. Marlie recognized the sadness and profound emptiness that I am carrying and became one of the forces for healing. I couldn't keep her just for me, my way to give back to others is sharing her with all who need love and my personal mission is to let the vulnerable children and youth know that they are loved, unconditionally loved but most importantly unconditionally accepted. We currently serve the youth aging out of our foster care system in residential institutions like Aunt Martha’s, support literacy programs and bilingualism programs, we project to have a 2024 program targeting substance use disorder. La idea de certificar y registrar a Marlie como una compañia terapéutica nació después de una tragedia personal, al perder a mi hijo de sobredosis de drogas. Marlie reconoció la tristeza y el profundo vacío que cargo y se convirtió en una de las fuerzas de sanación. Actualmente visitamos los jovenes en nuestro foster care en instituciones como Aunt Martha's y Mooseheart. No podía quedármela solo para mí, mi forma de retribuir a los demás es compartirla con los que necesitan amor y mi misión personal es hacerles saber a los niños más vulnerables que son amados, amados incondicionalmente pero mas importante aceptados incondicionalmente.

TO THE WONDERFUL HOME VISITORS IN DUPAGE COUNTY: I have been a home visitor/Parent-child educator and Family Support Specialist at Family Shelter Service of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage,Dupage County Health Department and The Regional Office of Education.
We have been in the ups and downs of our families sitting in their living rooms and we have celebrated their triumphs and challenges.

I know we cannot fill the void of lack of basic needs, and I know that families with babies and toddlers need diapers and I know diapers are hard to find for us.
I am going to have a Diaper Giveaway only for Home Visitors for your families in your caseloads and a small recognition for you and for your hard, incredibly valuable, unrecognized job.
