Chromosomes come in pairs. When a chromosome has an extra copy of a chromosome, it is called a trisomy. The most common trisomy disorders are Trisomy 13, Patau Syndrome; Trisomy 18, Edward Syndrome; Trisomy 21, Down Syndrome.
