It provides pediatric therapy services including Speech & Feeding therapy, Occupational therapy, & Physical therapy. team is made up of skilled clinicians who come from both the medical and school models. They provide services in the Naperville clinic, as well as in the home. Speech therapy services are available for the adult and geriatric populations.

KatieBug has an awesome PT team! Our favorite duo brings a wide variety of experiences and skills to our clinic. Physical therapists work with children to develop and improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and balance. Our team treats a wide variety of conditions and offers special treatment programs for incontinence and torticollis. Happy PT month and a huge thank you to Ms. Jenny and Ms. Carly! This weekend, Team KatieBug will be walking in the Chicagoland Buddy Walk! The Buddy Walk’s mission is to raise awareness and support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

KatieBug is 25!! And wow, has it been the most unexpected & amazing journey. A journey of constant learning, exploring, sharing and growing. Our story involves so many talented individuals that have shared in our philosophy. We are a clinic and not a "business". We are a family that takes care of each other so that we can then take care of others with intelligence, compassion, and kindness. Each person has contributed to the essence of who we are and the outstanding care that we provide. But every year along the way, the true hero and source of inspiration has been the children and their parents. I am in awe of the brave, tireless and fearless advocacy of each parent! It has been an honor to be a part of these families lives and to witness their success and joy in the big and small wins.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to every team member (past & present!) and child/parent that has lovingly added to our story. We look forward to many more years ahead.....if you have a memory or story that you would like to share, I would love to hear it!

1. Why did you want to be an SLP?
As a child I remember wondering how we learn to talk and even asking my mom how she taught my brother and I to talk. In college I stumbled upon a class titled "Intro to Human Verbal Development" and finally had my answer! I fell in love with the field and immediately switched my major.

2. What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
Spend time with my kids and dog, go for a hike or listen to live music

3. What is your favorite food, color, place?
My grandma's Easter pasta, purple, The Arboretum

Ms. Rene has been a part of the KatieBug family since 2010. In addition to providing excellent care to her patients, as our Clinical Development Lead, Ms. Rene works with many universities to set up student placements here at KatieBug. Giving us the opportunity to not only share our knowledge and skills, but to show our passion for pediatric care. Thank you for sharing your kindness, your love of learning and excellent mentorship. 1. Why did you want to be an SLP?
My mom is an SLP, and when I was young, I thought she had the coolest job (I still do!).

2. What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
Spend time with my family. My kids and I love to take walks with our dog, play at the park, and visit the library. I also love to read.

3. What is your favorite food, color, place?
Food- peanut butter, Color- orange, Place- the beach
