🎙️✨Meet Oak Lawn Clinical Director Katie Ryan!

Katie began in 2015 as a line therapist (behavior technician) at IABA, gaining experience working directly with clients. Learning how to build rapport with clients and their families and teach skills using the principles of ABA, under the supervision of skilled and ethical BCBAs, prepared her to become a competent BCBA.

Becoming a BCBA in 2016 brought new responsibilities, such as learning how to manage a caseload as well as train and supervise RBTs. From there, Katie held various positions at IABA before ultimately finding her current role as Clinical Director, where she had the opportunity to open and manage the Oak Lawn clinic!

Katie values and loves the people she works with at IABA: the clients, the families, and the staff! Her absolute favorite thing about IABA is seeing clients make progress, gain new skills, and build meaningful relationships. The progress they see and the fabulous team she has are why she comes to work every day and why she has stayed with IABA for over 10 years!

Ten years in the making & still growing alongside our clinics...

🎙️✨ Meet Chief Clinical Director Katlyn McGinnis!

Joining IABA in 2016, Katlyn started as a BCBA at our Naperville clinic, moving into new responsibilities over time as a clinical supervisor and then clinical director, where she had the opportunity to help open the Glenview clinic that has been serving families for the past five years.

Now Chief Clinical Director overseeing both the Naperville and Glenview clinic locations, Katlyn has gained valuable experiences and skills, and is especially grateful for the relationships she has built with her colleagues as well as the support they have been able to provide for clients and families over the years.

Most special to Katlyn at IABA is the clients she gets the pleasure to work with and the services she and her team provide, as they are always looking for new and meaningful ways to support them. She loves that everyone at IABA shares the same mission and drive to support clients, and she genuinely enjoys the time she spends at IABA. 💚

Starting November, the Instructional ABA Consultants Glenview clinic is officially a Behavioral Health Center (BHC)! 🧠

With this change, we are excited to expand on the services and support available to families in our communities in the Northside suburbs of Chicago.
