It’s a bittersweet time in our office as we celebrate our IVF nurse, Patty Luczak, during her final week before retirement. A nurse for 45 years, Patty has been with our practice for the past four years. She previously worked with Dr. Miller years ago and played a crucial role in helping develop our IVF program.
In her current role with us, Patty focused on personalized nurse consults and built strong connections with her patients. She led injection teaching sessions, reviewed treatment protocols in detail, educated patients on procedures like PGT testing and always made sure patients felt confident, supported and prepared as they began their cycles. When patients learned about her upcoming retirement, many jokingly (kind of😉) asked her to wait until they finished treatment.
Beyond patient care, Patty’s impact is felt throughout our practice. She is an advocate, educator and mentor. Education has always been central to her nursing career and she constantly shared her knowledge and experience, strengthening our entire IVF team.
Patty leaves behind a department that is better because of her. She will be greatly missed by her patients and colleagues.
Thank you for everything, Patty. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the retired life!🤍
