We're excited to collaborate with 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘁'𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 for a relaxing and creative Paint & Sip experience — featuring our very own therapy pony, 𝗢𝗿𝗲𝗼! 🐴

Celebrate the season with a fun night of painting, creativity, and community. This instructor-led paint class includes step-by-step guidance from local artists, all painting supplies, and a welcoming studio environment where you can unwind and try something new. No painting experience needed — just bring your love for creativity!

We had an amazing day at the Kendall County Community Food Pantry! From 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, we connected with the community, handed out self-care goodies, and shared information about our counseling services available online and in person. We offer individual, couples, and family counseling for people ages 6 and up. We also highlighted our specialized ABA and equine-assisted therapy programs, helping families and individuals find the support they need.

It was wonderful to meet so many community members and see the excitement around self-care and emotional wellness. We are thrilled to continue these connections and can’t wait to be back next Thursday, December 11, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, ready to spread more resources, smiles, and support.

What an incredible weekend at the Holiday Parade of Lights in downtown Naperville! 🎄✨

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Naperville for hosting such a wonderful event. We are truly grateful to have been included. It was a joy to showcase our equine-assisted ABA and therapy services, along with some of the amazing horses who help make this work possible 🐴❤️

We were equally surprised and deeply honored to be featured in the Chicago Tribune’s coverage of the parade! Thank you to everyone who came out to support the community and celebrate the season with us ❄️💫

Transformative Growth is excited to share that we have been invited to walk in the Naperville Holiday Parade of Lights, and we want you to join us! ✨🎊✨

This is a wonderful opportunity to spread awareness about mental health and wellness at one of the community’s biggest events🥁🎺

We will even be bringing 🐴Oreo🐴, one of the amazing horses from our equine therapy program, to help us stand out in the best way.

Clients, community members, families, and friends are all welcome to walk alongside Transformative Growth staff

TGC is a proud supporter of Be Yourself Group , an amazing nonprofit that focuses on helping people with developmental challenges.

This Sunday, we’re bringing the farm to YOU, at the Be Yourself Group’s Trunk or Treat! Come meet one of our equine “therapists”, Oreo 🐴🎃

Oreo is a mini horse who helps children and adults engage in deeper work via experiential learning found in equine therapy and ABA.

Today, Transformative Growth Counseling attended the Executives’ Club of Chicago’s People, Purpose, Planet & Profit Summit 🌍

The summit explored how leaders can uphold social equity, sustainability, and integrity in an uncertain era. Speakers shared how doing the right thing—while balancing responsibility, risk, and resilience—remains essential for building trust and long-term impact.

These conversations inspire TGC’s ongoing mission: to provide accessible, high-quality counseling and community outreach to all people. By learning how organizations can lead with purpose and accountability, we strengthen our own commitment to mental health equity and sustainable growth in the communities we serve 🩵💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💟
This is a time to stand together, speak out 🗣️, and support those affected by abuse

Domestic violence can happen to anyone, regardless of age, gender, or relationship status

This month, let’s:
⚠️ educate ourselves about the warning signs
👂listen without judgement
💪 remind survivors they are not alone

Small actions, like checking in on a friend or sharing resources, can make a life saving difference

Together, we can help end the cycle of violence

🗣️Words matter when we talk about su***de

❌ Phrases like "committed su***de" carry judgement, linking death by su***de to crime or sin

❌ Saying "failed" or "unsuccessful attempt" suggests that living is a failure, which can be deeply harmful

❌ Referring to someone as a "suicidal person" reduces them to their crisis, ignoring their full identity

💡Instead, try using language that’s accurate and compassionate

✅ "Died by su***de" and "su***de attempt" name the event without judgement

✅ "Experiencing suicidal thoughts" acknowledges thoughts as temporary experiences, not defining features

🩵💜Shifting our words helps reduce stigma, creates space for healing, and can even save lives

Today, we remember.

Memorial Day is a time to honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. It’s also a moment to hold space for the many people—veterans, families, and communities—who carry invisible wounds from that loss.

Grief, trauma, and the mental health impact of war don’t take a day off. As we pay tribute, let’s also raise awareness:

🕊️ Veterans and active service members are at higher risk for PTSD, depression, and su***de.�
🕊️ Loved ones left behind may experience complicated grief and long-term emotional effects.�
🕊️ Mental health support is vital—not just for those who serve, but for those who carry their memories.
