Congratulations to Gianni for completing a 12-week physical therapy program with Kaitlyn Urick, PT, DPT!!

During his sessions, Gianni improved his core and foot strength. He is now able to walk with more postural control with alternating feet going up and down the stairs.

This weekend, Easterseals CEO Kendra Davenport shared on ABC News, (https://bit.ly/4qFMNwL) the reality for families with disabilities that face higher living costs and barriers to steady employment — challenges that create choices like whether to pay for gas to get to therapy or put food on the table. This is why support from our community matters so deeply.

In one month, on , December 2, we can come together to ensure every child and their family can thrive. Thanks to the support from our Board of Directors and generous matching partners — Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Old World Foods and Orthopaedic Spine Institute, we can double donations to reach our $250,000 goal.

Teamwork, creativity, and community are always in season — especially on Halloween! 🎃
Our Mental Health & Family Support team brightened the day as Skittles, our Development team brought the chocolatey charm as M&Ms, and the Occupational Therapy team inspired everyone as the Wizard of Oz crew — reminding us there’s no place like Easterseals!

What a fun and festive Halloween week! 🎃 Our Trunk or Treat was a big success — thank you to all the trick-or-treaters, volunteers, and friends from St. John's Lutheran School - Lombard, IL for making it such a special event. 🍬

Our Lily Garden teachers also brought the Halloween spirit to life with a joyful Fall Fest and costume parade for families!

And our staff has a pumpkin decorating competition this week! Vote for your two favorite pumpkins in the comments or families can vote in person at our Villa Park Center. Stay tuned tomorrow for some of our team costumes!
