“Ballerina Breast Augmentation” 🩰

This patient wanted a very subtle augmentation in her breasts, something that wasn’t too noticeable, but gave her a conservative increase in fullness so that she would feel more comfortable and self-confident. This patient has children and simply wanted to restore the fullness she lost with pregnancy. These smaller volume breast implants, coined “yoga boobs” or “ballerina boons,”typically involve between 150-250cc, depending on the size and frame of the patient.

This patient is 5’2” , 105 lbs and underwent a (“partially under the muscle”) breast augmentation with moderate-profile 265 cc silicone implants.

Tummy Tuck 1 yr result

After children, this patient tried 10 years of rigorous strength-training and healthy eating, but she was still left with extra skin in her belly. She is now 1 yr out from a tummy tuck. Her belly is now flat, athletic, with a natural-looking belly button and low, well-concealed incision.

Breast Augmentation/Lift & Tummy Tuck - “Mommy Makeover”

After pregnancy, this patient was bothered by the deflation of her breasts, along with the excess skin and protuberance (muscle laxity) of her belly. This patient underwent a breast lift and augmentation with high-profile 350 cc silicone implants. Additionally, a tummy tuck with liposuction and muscle repair was performed during the same surgery.

This patient is 6 months out from surgery. As you can see, her breast lift “lollipop” incisions remain pink, but will fade over the next 6-12 months. “Mommy Makeover” surgeries are performed as an outpatient, with a 4 wk recovery, 2 wks off work, and 4-6 months until final result.

The power of muscle repair and tummy tuck!

This patient is 9 months out from surgery. After kids, she had a significant amount of muscle laxity ( ) that created a “rounded” look to her belly. Additionally, she had extra skin, particularly in her lower belly, above her c-section scar which created a “shelf.” Lastly, she had two hernias, one her in belly button (umbilical hernia, and one above her belly button (epigastric hernia).

She underwent tummy tuck, muscle repair, and hernia repair x2. Her belly is now flat, athletic and natural looking. Her incision is low and well-concealed below her bikini line.

Patient should expect a one month recovery after the surgery, typically two weeks off of work, and 4-6 months until final result.

This patient was petite and desired a more full, natural look. Selecting the proper implant above was critical in delivering that result. Going bigger could have lead to problems down the road, including bottoming out, or giving the patient an over-augmented/top-heavy look.
