“Ballerina Boobs” - what are they?

These are smaller volume breast augmentations that give a very subtle, natural enhancement in fullness. They typically involve implants between 150-250cc, depending on the size and frame of the patient.

Breast Augmentation with Areolar Reduction and Correction of Asymmetry - 3 year result

This patient was bothered by her breast asymmetry, with her left appearing larger, along with wide ar**lae L > R. If you zoom in, you can see the incision around her ar**la, which typically heals up as a thin line scar.

She is 5’2’’ , 120 lbs and underwent breast augmentation with high-profile silicone implants placed under the muscle. Because of her asymmetry, we used 375 cc on the right, and 350 cc on the left.

Make Plastic Surgery Less Taboo! For post-partum women that have tried exercise and diet, and can’t seem to achieve their goal body shape, plastic surgery can be a safe, long-term solution in those that are interested. So many times I hear how a tummy tuck or breast restoration surgery can transform someone’s life is such a positive way. But equally as many times I hear how patients don’t feel comfortable discussing with some of their closest friends and family members because they feel like they are going to judge them. Save the judgement for those that haven’t put their bodies through pregnancy(s) and have exhausted all other efforts with diet and exercise. My goal with this post to reduce the stigma behind plastic surgery, and to promote open conversations about this topic amongst everyone.
