You don’t need to “earn,” “save up,” or “make room” for holiday food.

Your body doesn’t require compensation, it requires care, consistency, and kindness. 💙

Give yourself permission to simply enjoy the season, one moment at a time.

Mealtimes aren’t always easy, but your presence can bring steadiness, comfort, and connection to the table.

You don’t need perfect words or the perfect plan, just showing up with care is enough.

Save this for the days you need a reminder that what you bring to the table matters.

The holidays aren’t just about cooking or baking, they’re about connection.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down, spend time with people we care about, and create memories that have nothing to do with the food itself.

If cooking or baking feels overwhelming this year, it’s okay to go at your own pace. There are so many other festive ways to join in:

Decorating cookies
Building gingerbread houses
Sledding or ice skating
Making ornaments
Cozy movie marathons
Driving around to see Christmas lights

Whatever feels right for you, embrace it. Holiday joy doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be yours.

Breaking out of all-or-nothing thinking takes time, practice, and a lot of self-compassion.

You don’t have to be perfect to make progress. Small steps, flexible choices, and gentle reminders count just as much. You’re allowed to grow, learn, and meet yourself in the middle.

Save this for the days you need a softer perspective💙

Thanksgiving can bring up a lot by being around food, family dynamics, or just the pressure to “be okay.” If today feels complicated, you’re not doing anything wrong. You deserve kindness, support, and moments of ease. These are some things to keep in mind today.

Your worth is not defined by what’s on your plate.
Holidays can bring up pressure around food but you’re allowed to eat, enjoy, and take care of yourself.

You’re allowed to set boundaries.
If certain conversations or comments feel tough, you can step away, redirect, or protect your peace.

All foods fit, even on holidays.
You don’t have to “earn” or “make up for” anything. Nourishing your body is part of caring for it.

Rest is still important.
You’re not required to be “on” all day. Taking a breather or finding quiet moments is more than okay.

Lean on support when you need it.
Text a friend, use grounding tools, or check in with your treatment team if things feel overwhelming.

You deserve to be present.
Thanksgiving is about connection, meaning, and moments, not rules, guilt, or comparison.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and nourishing Thanksgiving with love from all of us at Nutrition Braved. 🧡
